Fabian Hall Yogg-Saron and C'thun are not dead, we only killed their exterior forms and forced them back into their prisons, so the threat is neutralized for now. The only dead old god we know of is Y'shaarj.
Same, it may not have been the best expansion, but I really liked it. People forget they remade the entirety of WoW just for this expansion, introduced new races, and new areas, and the dungeons were fun and difficult, it was really great
I miss this so much, remember being Allaince back in cataclysm. Sitting in Stormwind sitting doing Dragon soul. Doing random bg's. This music brings back those memories.
TxtACRowetxT I'm not a veteran, and I'm not saying i am. I started off in 4.3, almost 2 years ago. I loved WoW back then. Until MoP came out i stopped playing. :P
Moritz Grohmann I was told that classic was kind of shitty, the 40-man raids were hard and winning rolls for goods was a bitch because of so many people
Moritz Grohmann I agree, WotLK was an awesome expansion. But here is my order: 1. The Burning Crusade 2. Vanilla WoW 3. Wrath of the Lich King ( I miss ICC,Ulduar etc) 4. Mists of Pandaria (Meh) 5. Cataclysm (Music was good, but didnt like the expansion.
This is the best WoW Soundtrack. The composition is just genius, sets the correct mood and is perfectly arranged. The ending of the song is originally from the WoW Classic OST, however I dare to say that in this OST they perfected it. It's super nostalgic to listen to that section at the ending of the song, it makes you feel that everything is coming to an end and I guess that's how the intended it to be. A shame the expansion wasn't as good as the song lol
This piece of music really builds up emotions, sadness for what happend to the world and anger towards the creature that made it happen, its truelly a remarkable piece of music that really gets you into the feel for all thats happend. personally the intro theme's have become better each time, re-telling the previous patch prior to the expansion, for example in Wotlk we had a bit from the fury of the sunwell patch. it almost tells you the story of whats happend so far.
I started playing World of Warcraft during Wrath of Lich King, this was the 1st DLC to release when I played, it brings back so many memories of me as a noob! Such nostalgia!
2:37 to 3:20 : what a beautiful part, sadness, despair... the first time I heard it I thought for the loss all the races of Azeroth, on the edge of destruction, ready to fight for a last and though hope ! Brilliant, powerful, sadly epic. (sorry for my english, i'm french ^^)
Easily my favorite part of the song! I remember hearing it first in Northshire's little starting building as a human and think it was so beautiful. I was super excited with how they put it into this theme!
2:35 gahh i get chills at that section. It was a song that wasn't used THAT often in the game and I always loved it. Almost jumped outta my seat when it came up in this song.
If WoW was to release in 2015 think about it just a theory people would go fucking crazy in love with it!!!! the rest is up to the people to like this comment if you all would agree game was too good in 2004 and now its too overpower of a game today blizzard should have waited for the right time to release such an outstanding game project
This is all part of the main cataclysm theme. If you're looking for the inspiration for the various portions, you need only look at the previous expansions' theme songs. They basically took those and cranked them to 11.
Never in my life have I been so attracted to such harmonious, angelic melody. World of Warcraft's music is, was and shall forever remain unparalleled and I would love to thank the creators of these wonders for opening my eyes to the true definition of musical beauty. Plus, the storyline has rivalled and beaten those of the best writers in modern time (my opinion), the exquisite art, intricate decorations and beautiful graphics just appeal to me in a way nothing has before. W.o.W is the BEST!
I have played wow for 6 years (with 'breaks' of course!) and my buddies and me was moved to tears from 10:56 to end. Its like a "flash-back" of our wow experience (We each have at lasted switched servers at least 4 times for end-game purposes). All those MC 40man raids all the way to HLK 25man raids to arenas, bg, etc... EPIC!!
Its a mictures of A LOT of the other themes/songs. Combines the old menu music perfectly along with a few other goodies. There was a list somewhere on here that had them all and at which parts.
Victory or death my children. I love how at the end, the song takes a trip back to the classic WoW theme. Oh yeah, and before I forget... FOR THE ALLIANCE!
Wow at 2:37 it starts that song from Human churches and other such buildings that I always loved. For them to take such a random minimally used song and put it in this makes me SO happy.
WoW's music is incredible and no game score can match it or ever will... I cannot express my feelings listening to this theme. Although I stopped playing in WOTLK after 7 years and didn't even see Cata, the mix of all main themes taped into this is STELLAR. Even though I will never play WoW again, I will never forget it because of it's unparalleled gameplay, art design and music. For real Vanilla players, no mmorpg will ever top those feelings, not even that thing called GW2. WoW is a Generation
In the past I don't like Cataclysm too much that's why it is Classic revamp. But now I have only nostalgic feelings and good memories about this part of my teenage life.
