The game captures the exaggerated swagger of an aquatic invertebrate. Really makes you *feel* like spongebob. 9.5/10, it has a little something for everyone
Isn't this the man who had the world record on Mr. Krabs overdoses on ketamine? Truly a master of his craft, no wonder he has the world record for the sequel.
Oh, he not only had the world record, he developed an entirely new strategy that was unlike anything we've seen before. I haven't followed that games speedruns but it's probably still the best speedruning technique in the game. He's an inspiration to us all
Charlie's going to try get the world record speednrun of Spongebob Glockpants just like with Mr.Krabs overdoses on Ketamine and you know it will epic when he gets it
3:12 "That's the attention to detail you need to have for a Triple A title. Like in Resident Evil 8 they have a full..." *Pauses and Casually Murders someone* "Labia"
You actually got the "Execute Gary %" speedrun on 3:43 -3:44, the rng for the cleaner shot had this done about under a second, so you might want to take note of that in case others find this strat out.
As I saw a video titled, "World Record SpongeGlock Speedrun", I looked down, with hope in my eyes that it was Charlie. And as my eyes were being filled with his account name, I jumped for joy. I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl. I took out my chocolate ice cream and started scooping, hoping the spoon wouldn't break as it was scraped against the hard, creamy, chocolate surface. An idea flashed in my head as if the light bulbs in my kitchen turned on by themselves. I grabbed a box of double stuffed Oreos with the intent to crush them over my ice cream, but I didn't want to get my hands messy. Should I use 2 plates or 2 cups to crush them? I chose the cups. Two Oreos is all I need. I loaded the Oreos into the cup and smash them over with the other. Surprised by the Oreos structural integrity, I looked in awe as the Oreos were still whole. I laid them on their side, scraping against the glass cup, trying to fit within the diameter. The 2nd glass came down, and the Oreos were shattered. I sprinkled them over my ice cream, and went back to my room. I sat down, played the video, and began eating, as I see Gary get shot. This is the good life...
@@fur_avery there is a difference between death and perma-death of a character in video games :P in the game charlie was playing, you had the choice to kill or not kill people therefore you can potentially complete the game without killing squid or patrick so its not canon that they actually died, its an in-game choice charlie made as far as i can tell.
This was the first stream I watched of Charlie’s and well, the progression from discovering the game to speed running prediction glitching god is amazing
charlie, i watch your videos every day and you cheer me up every time, i just moved states and my time at home hasn’t been great, but whenever you upload i feel so much better, keep going man
Lmao critical the shooting tempo is messed because the in game timing is linked to ur frame rate which is changing rapidly due to the crappy programming on the game. Modern games usually have separate in game timers which utilize other hardware so this problems not rly your fault.
@@godsdrunkestdriver8438 I think it'd just do the same thing, it'd just lower from 60fps (if he capped it at 60). I don't actually know though, just what I would figure
I think that the thing with the glock shoot pattern is related to frame rate, if I has to guess the developer probably put the input check in a fixed amount of frames, so some times you miss the input "frame", that or is RNG involved, but it would be kinda stupid to put RNG in a shooting pattern, so I lean more towards the fixed frames check
When you're timing shots like that it's less about just having a set tempo, and more about feeling when you're able to fire the next shot via animation or audio cues. Or, you can just bind click to the scroll wheel and scroll away
