Acro mode is like helos without gyro avionics! Neato.

+Johnyknowhow, no acro mode is like a heli with *only* gyros to maintain desired roll/pitch attitude. The other modes (commonly referred to as Angle and Horizon) will auto level when you center the sticks by incorporating data from the accelerometers. Angle will not allow it to pitch/roll beyond a certain angle and is useful for bashing around the house because it'll resist flipping over when it runs into obstacles which happens a lot with these little guys. Horizon mode behaves like Angle mode for about half stick throw, and beyond half, it changes to Acro so you can get both auto-leveling at center stick and ability to do rolls and flips.

How much does everything combined cost?

Oh. That's... slightly disappointing. I've never gotten into drones and dabble in 3D helos. No 700s or anything too special, 150 does it in for me. R/C is just too damn expensive to have any fun. If I ever did pursue getting into multi-rotors, I'm not too much of a fan of crutches. Special flight modes are great for filming I'm assuming, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. EDIT: re-read your post and I think I'm a bit confused. i'll look it over later...

it looks like you get a better flight time out of the clone: Eachine E010 and it costs only 1/3rd of the whoop. and there is the slightly larger Eachine QX70 with already installed camera and way larger battery

So i found some potential drones to buy. However i'm having issues finding out which ones come with the goggles that he was using in this video. Do you need to buy those separately and pair it with the drone? If so how?

The one used in the video are fatsharks. They are pretty expensive, so box style goggles like the vr008 or vr d2 would be better if you want something cheaper. They work with 5.8 GHz transmitters.

This is them quoted: Hey Everyone! Parts list for the drone is in the description! Explanation here: The drone I built is a modified Inductrix Blade, most commonly referred to as a "Tiny Whoop". You can buy fully built kits, DIY kits, or buy the individual parts and assemble it together like I did. You will also need a radio transmitter (the controller) and some FPV goggles to view the camera feed. You can also just use a little monitor screen that has a radio antenna attached. I already had these from when I started getting into racing drones last year. If you go the build-it-yourself route you will want to watch a lot of tutorials and will need a soldering iron. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be though ;) I was flying in what's called "*Acro*" mode, meaning that it does not fly like a DJI drone. If you set it to "level" mode, it will behave that way, but in acro mode it will not self-correct so you can easily do things like flips and barrel rolls, but also makes it way more difficult to fly. If you press forward on the sticks, it will continue to go forward until it's upside down haha. I've started learning how to do flips and stuff but I need to set better PIDs. The main components of the drone are the airframe, props, motors, flight controller (brain), camera, and batteries. I provided links to everything I could in the description. You can choose more powerful motors which will give you more agility and ability to do flips. I went with the middle-power motors for now but will probably upgrade soon. ALSO, the radio antenna on my camera is a linear one rather than the cloverleaf configuration normally seen as default with the tiny whoops, because it's supposedly harder to break. The bigger antennas break easily. I also hot-glued some tooth-picks from the antenna to the frame for added support. Good luck everyone!

They use low resolution cameras and analog TV signals because for racing and acrobatics the pros need to shave every millisecond possible in their reaction times; this tech does no processing at all in the signal and when the signal starts going bad you can still see things somewhat because the receiver mostly just blindly throws the signal straight onto the screen without trying to interpret the noise.
