I remember you talked with that taxi driver before🙂. It is always amazing to me when you don't need their service these people still stay friendly. I visited mountain coffee in Novemeber 2022 after I have seen one of your video's when you go there I believe to pick up some coffee. The lady is very nice, we had a long talk and that place is just amazing. She even invited me to come back the next day as her father was going to roast coffee. Definitely have to go back next time as I didn't go there last November...

Merry Christmas Bill! When I come to Chiang Mai I always stay at P'Lyn house at Loi Kroh soi 3 so it is very close to those small alleys but I never walked them so thanks to you I have another area to check out next time. I love those old wooden houses and I guess it is a nice place to do some photography.

The parents would be the victims of theft. Falsely accusing the Thai police of false imprisonment or extortion could have been a chargeable offense. But in the the best solution is detention, deportation and of course a ban. Hopefully a long time ban.

is it true that Thai hospitals expect patients to have family responsible for some care duties? I'm retiring soon to Thailand as single. Should I have a plan for that :) ?

True but not true , more so in government based hospitals . The private ones you would be fine alone in them . The hospital I was in yes my wife went along , but had she not the care would have been there that I needed ....... I think your pretty safe ...

I was in CM Ram for 3/4 nights by myself (prostate surgery) and everything was just fine (including choice of food for each meal). No problem being by myself.
