Honestly, this comment really helped me. I just got out of a toxic situation myself with a guy like this. I keep telling myself that I am just overly sensitive, but there were so many red flags. Constant insults, never believing me, constant talk about how horrible women are, extreme superficiality. It was hard to cut the cord, but I need to realize that I deserve better.
