Thanks for doing this and convincing me that my instincts were off and that an even split and spontaneous casters for mystic Theurge isn't ideal and giving a way to do MT. That double bond is pretty dope too. If ever called to an angel playthrough this sounds cool cheers.

Yes, you did say my name correctly. You also guess correctly that I would want a blaster + Healing/buff type of spellcaster. (that includes the deity choice too.) This mostly comes from games like Final Fantasy Tactics where you can combine classes (example Black Mage + White Mage is basically a Mystic Theurge) but also one of my favorite characters in Dragon Quest 11 basically becomes insanely powerful when she basically combines the wizard and cleric spell books (before she was the heal-bot of the team). I wanted to try this combo of Wizard + Cleric before and just use the spell list you made in in Empyrial Sorcerer/Ecclesitheurge combo. But I like your build videos so i asked to make one with the new Mythic path system. You can post (or make) a Lich version focusing more on the wizard side if you wish to show it of. Also I want to ask you if was more worth it to just a wizard and take Angel path to get the buff and Heals rather than taking Mystic Theurge? (Was thinking of a crossblooded sorcerer on my first playthrough going Angel path).

I consider making my first pc Ancient Lorekeeper oracle archetype angel (I think it's in the game) that way you get higher caster level than Theurge and divine and arcane spells

Since you said you didn't play the beta to the end and can mostly guess when each mythic rank unlocks I figured I might be able to help with that part. I will put a SPOILER warning here despite me not actually mentioning anything about the plot. All this will be is a list of what level I was at each mythic rank (and how easy it is to delay a level or be a level ahead). Mythic Rank 1: I got to this at character level 5, though I was on the verge of level 6. With farming of random encounters you might be able to hit 6 before, while it is very difficult to reach rank 1 at level 4 without essentially ignoring every single sidequest, including the ones you can not go back to. Mythic Rank 2: I was around 70% into level 7 for this and there were some sidequests that were bugged for me, so it may be possible to hit 8 before rank 2. Likewise there are both sidequests you can and can not return to later, so it might be possible to get to rank 2 while juuuuuust below level 7. Mythic Rank 3: For this one I was around 20-30% into level 9 having done all content except the bugged quests previously mentioned, making it pretty difficult to reach 10 beforehand while it would be easy enough to delay a level and be 8 when you gain this rank. Mythic Rank 4: This one is hard to judge for me because there is a lot of variance and you could have done all kinds of sidequests before or barely touched any. As such I would go with a vague "level 11-13" for this one. Mythic Rank 5: I was deep into level 14 for this and am pretty sure I missed a few sidequests before, so you could very easily hit level 15 by this time. Level 13 would also be possible (hell even level 12 does not seem impossible, just unlikely) but you would be skipping the majority of sidequests and I legitimately have no idea if you'd get any chance to ever do them afterwards. Mythic Rank 6: I was deep into level 17 for this (around 70-80% in) and due to the missing sidequests I mentioned at rank 5, it might be possible to already be level 18 here. Level 16 might also be possible but anything below that seems unlikely because a lot of the "sidequests" this time around are almost mandatory. Mythic Rank 7(?): The ? is mainly because this is where the beta ends. You get hints that this should be where you get rank 7 but it does not actually happen because you've reached the end of the beta content. I was in early level 18 for this (25% in roughly) so there is not really all that many chances to adjust your build between rank 6 and 7. Level 19 I can't imagine being possible while delaying and still being level 17 could easily be done if you were 16 for rank 6. So the short version: Rank 1: Level 5 Rank 2: Level 7 Rank 3: Level 9 Rank 4: Level 11-13 Rank 5: Level 14 Rank 6: Level 17 Rank 7: Level 18 Edit: All of this is with me having shared all xp with the party, so if you only gave xp to active party members and took all the skillcheck xp for yourself the numbers would be vastly different. Hell, you would most likely be level 20 by the time you hit rank 6 or 7.

Hi, interesting video as always. I wish i could pop out builds like you, im very bad at that stuff. I plan on doing an Aeon-path as my first playthrough when the game goes life, thinking of Inquisitor, Hellknight or Paladin, though Pala maybe more for an Angel-path. I would love to hear your opinion and if possible some leveling advice. 😃

Why would I choose this over a mercenary wizard in the party and a pure cleric main with a caster level of 30? A caster level of 30 seems insanely powerful, especially if you take animal domain and have a mythic pet to go with it.
