Great vid! I've really been enjoying my Rovan F5 electric builds! I may have done some silly things with these builds...all fun! Been enjoying the channel; love your energy toward this amazing hobby!
@bluegroovemodelsports9650 you must use some crazy terrain! I've used the stock shocks. They seem to be good. I did change the shock fluid across all 4 shocks.
@ianjohnhorwood2605 not on these trays, unfortunately, as they just about squeeze the 9000mah. If I built new trays and moved a few bits around, then yes. But it's easy just to buy another set of 9000mah batteries 😊 Whichever option works I guess!
@richardblundell1566 it's a case of buying a RF5, and I can send you the links to obtain the conversion parts. It's very straightforward to do. But so much better!
@Johnny6ex I guess it comes down to cost savings for manufacturers. But on the plus side, it allows you to make it your own when you start adding items.
@Johnny6ex most rcs don't come with mud guards (inner fenders) other than crawlers. There are after-market companies that make them but not for all cars.
I want one of those almost as much as I want my next breath.!!! You have some fantastic RCs on your channel. Stay safe out there mate & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
@alantaylor353 Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words and continued support to the channel! It's really appreciated! This was one conversion well worth doing! 👌🏽
obviously the larger and heavier brushless RC cars get with a fully loaded up chassis , with the option of two large and heavy duty metal servos , a large and heavy brushless motor and ESC , and two massive and heavy batteries , with all the heavy duty heavy metal drive train & differentials etc is going to take it's toll on how much run time you can achieve with these large 5th scale RC cars , especially if your 5th scale can hit 100 and plus mph 🤣🤣🤣 , of which there is a video on you tube of an MCD rally car hitting that 100 mph mark 🤣🤣🤣 .
@ianjohnhorwood2605 This is to be expected, I guess. Especially if you're hitting big figures! This felt more like 50 to 60 mph, which in my eyes is fast for such a huge car.
🤔 you could also probably also double up on each side with batteries , having a quad of batteries 🤣🤣🤣 , which means you still need two large double battery charging chargers , including another 2nd set of quad stack of batteries and another two duoble chargers 🤣🤣🤣
