At 17:08 you must have assumeed ro= infinite right?? Otherwise theoretically Rd and to will come into picture!

in thrid configuration you take Rd = 0 i mean shorted so why ro is not comes into picture why not Rin= ro || 1/gm ? time 7:55 you take 1/gm only while writing input impedance. you can simply see from above configuration just put Rd = 0 in Rin = (ro||1/gm)+Rd. time 5:44 .

do we need to short all ac sources and dc source while calculating output impedence
