I really appreciate Dani chiming in. She's wholesome and fun, she's obviously self-conscious about not taking too much spotlight, but often offers a unique perspective or remembers and knows stuff the cast forget or haven't thought of.

Keyleth takes a shot meant for Vex, it's "omg I can't believe you did that." Beau nearly dies (twice) in the cathedral fight (C2) and Jester is all, "Are you avoiding me? I didn't want you to die..." So at the end of the day, Marisha's character(s) die or nearly die, it's Laura who needs the therapy... 🤔

54:34 I love this is being brought up. Because there have been a couple of times where I've been like "Is Imogen going to snap and go dark side?" Because if you think about it, she's essentially still a teenager/young adult who's spent most of her life being relatively sheltered and now has thrust herself into the wider world. And the idea of all this incredible power being in the hands of a emotionally vulnerable, and at times emotionally unstable person who's still coming into her maturity is frankly terrifying if you stop to think about it

43:03 Ashley's comment about how Laura sort of narratively chooses her spells is something I've always admired. I started with campaign 2, and Jester actively sought out the Traveler to teach her new spells instead of just "oh I leveled up so now I got new shit". As I'm currently binge watching campaign 1 I noticed it's something she's always done, when she asked Keyleth to teach her to speak to Trinket and the rest of them didn't even catch on before she explained she had a spell available for speak with animals and she wanted to learn it through Keyleth. It's something I try to remind myself of for my own rp, to be mindful of how leveling up affects my character in more ways than just on paper. Like, sure, I got level 4 spells now, but where tf did they come from??

As a oerson who also gets very overwhelmed by noise, it has been amazing to see Imogen and the way she deals with everything. Also knowing that it comes from Laura's personal experience makes me just relate to her so much more

For the longest time, I always thought Laura Bailey could use an ale barrel full of dice converted into a pinball-bubble gum machine. So each session, she could get a new set of dice from the machine and we could see the swirly twirls of the dice rolling out. Yay for pinball machine!

Thank you for sharing. Liam n Marisha hit a note for me "everything in life prepared me for this." I felt that way as I've been going through stage iv cancer. Lots of stuff I couldn't handle if I didn't face hurdles/trauma before. It's so true and has been a way to try to deal with an out of control situation. Laudna's attitude about well I faced the worst echoed for me many times during chemo. Well I faced death so I can handle the next.

Loved the episode - so much goodness here. Lore hints and character background stuff. Liam explaining Orym's slow breakdown, not to mention looking fine AF (HEY I HAVE MY PRIORITIES). Laura explaining the thumbnails process (I've been wondering about this for AGES, thank you, Laura)! Ashley doing the wiggle again. :D Marisha being her delightful goofy self (especially with her describing her monster and later Liam's razzing her about it). Everyone dubbing Bor'Dor the official C3 Hot Boi. I still don't entirely believe Laura saying she actually shat the bed on that roll, but I hope it's true because it'll be great watching the fallout.

I think it's like cosmically funny that Liam's moon d20s both rolled a 10 during that persuasion check. Because 10 is kinda the middle-est middle you could roll, and also both the dice for Liam and moons for Orym are not, like full blown religion, but like a little bit of faith, and so that check is his moment of teetering on the "are the gods here still or are they just abandoning us?" question and the answer is "ask again later" Because it's like he IS in the middle. He wasn't brought up * religious * by Ashari, but he's been recognised by Wildmother. And they don't know if they succeeded or failed to stop Ludinus and they have to keep going either way

Ashley: That creature at 56:20 is Skogsrået it is a protector spirit of the forests. there are different ones Bergs (Mountains) rå, Havs (Ocean) rå and so on. A Rå is a warding spirit of a particular type of place, in Fearne's case it'd be the Deep Forests. Skog is pronounced Sk is the same, the O is the same as what you have in Row in English, and the G is like a soft k, Rå is pronounced similarly to Roe but the Å is not OE its more like the O in Oder for German, Liam can tell you. The other aspect, the one you focused on is simply the Forest Nymph which more Mischief, Sex and Bloody Murder. To Kill one, you need an Arrow on a Stormy Night.

What if he SAW his fate strand coming for him, and in the moment that his eyes locked with Deni$e's, he panicked and instinctively used his magic to stick his fate strand onto her so that she got pulled instead?! A sort of arcane "Nope, not dealing with that right now." type of dodging the proverbial bullet.

Or maybe the most memorable Matt sound effect was a moment from c2: can't remember exactly which episode, but there's a big metal plate or bowl or something and it drops to the ground and Matt emulates the sound of it rolling around so perfectly (picture a coin rolling around and coming to rest on a flat surface) that it's indestiguishable from the real thing. So many great Mercer sound effects over the years man, just a marvel to witness. ✊
