Every BBQ chef can probably think of a thing or two that they would like to modify on their smoker. In this video I show you how to make mods to an old 18.5 inch Weber Smokey Mountain. I add a thermometer, a thermometer port, handles to the lower rack (make sure you use stainless steel hardware, its safer for you food,) gasket to the door to seal in the smoke, and some expanded steel to the coal grate.
I purchased the thermometer port from www.ereplacementparts.com
