WVTV TV 18 - News Final/Lord's Prayer/Signoff/Nat'l Anthem January 21, 1984 [27 min 42 sec] 

Looks like the technical crew had to scramble to find a record of the national anthem to substitute for the film breaking or not playing. The perils of late night TV, I guess.

Susan Wirth, aka the Queen of Ink, died in 2017.

Another great one! I lived in the Chicago suburbs and would watch her on clear nights when I could get the signal back in the late 70s.

Sounded like Susan also did the movie tag at the top of the clip--I presume live, since she was definitely there for the newscast.

I recall back then when at the end of the shows at the late night at 2pm we had National anthem now tv goes on all the time !!

WVTV was WUHF WXIX and WOKY. Operated on Channel 19 for awhile before dropping down to channel 18. I was born n raised in Milwaukee my first 18 years to know this.

The 21st was a Saturday. Hulk Hogan won the WWF Championship on Monday the 23rd, two days later.

The SSB was deleted in 01/1984. I cannot post that, i don't want to get a CGS!

How can I get a copy of the Lord's prayer with sound and music . That was a definite catch on Saturday nights after Shock theatre and such in Milwaukee.
