WWF NES Games - Pat the NES Punk 

You can tell Frank actually wrestled and Pat watched "wrestling" on tv.

In my opinion it took until the N64 came along to get some truly great wrestling games.

Any episode with Frank in the intro is always awesome. :)

Frank is once again one of the best things about your videos. I just love the line about Cosmos. This was a great review and one that was weirdly released on the same day Game Grumps did a one off of the Wrestlemania Challenge.

Great memories. When I first got my NES my dad bought wrestlemania. I played that game and years later a friend loaned me a steel cage challenge but someone had switched the rom and it was wrestlemania. Just can't escape that game.

The second one was pretty fun as a kid, and it gets bonus points from me for having Rick Rude's theme. Steel Cage Challenge came out after I already had gotten a Genesis, so thankfully I never played it because it looks like a big step backwards.

We all know that the Neo Geo AES was designed when the Annunaki and Nephilim had a hybrid on Zeist and that being sent extremely detailed mental transmissions to a dude at Capcom to line a video game console with gold to increase conductivity therefore needing the Earth's largest, most perfectly cut cartridges to produce the futuristic 25th Century graphics we see today on most Neo Geo games

Well done, I had the first two. Something cool about Wrestlemania Challenge I think you forgot to mention was that your tag team partner could enter the ring and beat up your opponent for a limited period of time. Or, as they'd say in The Simpsons, "Why is the referee permitting this!"

IF you double tap the directional pad while facing the ropes, you could hop in/out of the ring at will.

Its funny how we got a new avgn episode and a new pat episode. That is fucking awesome.

If only we got 8-bit ports of Superstars and Wrestlefest. Or better yet, Sega Genesis ports of them.

2 years on and this is still my favourite episode Pat How time flys.

My favorite wrestling games are WCW vs the World, WCW vs NWO and Wrestlemania 2000. They are still awesome.

Wrestling games didn't have my attention until the N64 with No Mercy and WrestleMania 2000.

In Wrestlemania Challenge, Andre The Giant runs like 90s Rey Mysterio and Hulk Hogan looks Mexican.

I'm curious, did Rare program the first Wrestlemania game? It just reeks of their style on the NES... the sound, the graphics, the menus... it has to be developed by Rare, even if they didn't publish it.

The worst part of all of this is that the exact system from the worst out of the 4(Steel Cage Challenge) was what was used for the SNES games(Wrestlemania/Royal Rumble/WWF Raw)

I loved Pro Wrestling! It was one of the game I picked when I got my NES for Christmas. What a great day, I got a NES with the power pad, and on christmas eve I got to pick out a game for my nes (that I knew I was getting). My uncle just said to act surprised. It was funny, when they rang up the price it was 54.99...you should of saw the shock on his face...he didn't know nes games were so much. lol I rented Wrestlemania ....horrible, hated it....

yes good review of the 4 wrestling games pat of wwf for the nes but, wrestlemaina challenge is a good game i am sorry, and how come then i don't have a problem with the controles and completed wrestlemania challenge without losing a match, and completed tag team title mode with my young brother. well in view of ranking the 4 nes games here is what i think, rank 1 wrestlemania challenge, 2 king of the ring, 3 wrestlemania steel cage challenge, 4 wrestlemania.
