Devil Dog there's a video that is showcasing the new 8s and the camera pans by the motor and it clearly says 1275kv . I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't true
Do you have a link to this video?, the only shot of the 1275 kv motor I have seen was a still shot advertising the new cooling fans for the 8s upgrade kit. traxxas.com/products/parts/8s-power-up
8S for the X Max is too much. 6S was keeping it cute, 8S is steroids, especially because you put 8S on to an existing 1600kv motor (you guys forgot to mention this). New truck is said to have a 1250kv motor, this will have been acceptable even for 8S. It will be faster then the existing 6S version but will not be as ludicrous as the existing 6S on 8S.
