This was a great start for me and appreciate the help. Since my monitors are all the same size and resolution, I ended up keeping the same LFV for all three monitors with -100 and +100 offsets for the left and right monitors respectively. This prevented distortion while creating the visual "gap" left by the spaces to the left and right of the main/front monitor. It's looks, and feels great and I couldn't have gotten there without you!
Like the video, have played around with 3 equal monitors using different settings. WHat I am trying to figure out is because I do not sit in the middle of the cockpit, what can I do to correct this? If I line everything up as described, I have trouble lining up with a runway as my view (from the left seat) is not centered...I have messed with the lateral fractional offsets, but that has its own set of issues. Do you have any advice for a three monitor 120 deg view when you are not centered behind the front monitor? Thanks!
Any recent recommendations for a new system to run Xplane? I’m about to buy a gaming rig specifically for X Plane and thought I would ask the ones who make the game.
I was doing a short flight and as I was landing I lost all control of the plane with a "+" in the middle of the center screen. Since then I still have no response from my controls. Maybe I fat fingered a key on my keyboard. Any ideas?
I recently installed a few Aircraft mods, I unzipped them and put them in the Extra aircraft Folder, for some reason, when i start the game, those planes don't appear in the aircraft list. Ive restarted the game multiple times, reinstalled the mods multiple times still nothing seems to work. All of those mods worked for sometime and i even played with them but then suddenly they disappeared. (except the F/A-18E mod which i couldn’t find anywhere after i installed it.) Instead of extra aircraft i even tried extracting them in just the aircraft folder still it didn't work.
what about the fact you are not sitting directly in the center of the sim but on the left side? do you need to take that into account, and if so, if you have 2 pilots what do you do? 10x
How do I set instead a circual screen (i.e. 220 deegrees) with 4 screens using 1 master and 3 "view extension", all running on (4) differents PCs ? This is going to be my installation.
Why is there always a loud mechanical buzzing coming out of my speakers when I am using the sim? Has anyone ever experienced this problem? How do I get reed of it please
So we are buying a pc from you and my dad called you guys and was asking stuff bout the pc and the guy and on the phone asked how many monitors are you gonna use and my dad was like one? And the guy on the phone literally laughed out loud and said your gonna get a heck of a frame rate and my dad told me what happened and I laughed out loud too( we are buying the intel mainstream flight sim and gaming system mainly for gaming and school and with all the additions we chose it’s gonna be about $1800 we order it a few days ago and it’s being shipped on Monday from what my dad said and it says it will come in about 48 hours I can’t wait to play on it 😃 After we own it for a week or so we are planning on leaving a review on it and we think it will be very positive we had to wait for it be come back in stock but when it did it had a better graphics card and some other stuff that I can’t remember at the moment and I was so happy this is going to be my first pc ever so excited 😃
