I often have to drill or cut lots of small items. Doing it one by one isn't very efficient and holding them can be tricky.
I usually use some 25mm MDF that I can quickly clamp to the table and cut out a grid for the items to fit into. Insert the pieces and press cycle start - job done. Each and every one is perfect. :)
The new kit is working really well. Here I'm using a long, 5mm downcut bit to do the drilling and pocketing. The end mill could have been a bit longer - it barely reaches the spoilboard. On the final plunge the collet nut rubs on some of the pieces and makes a loud squealing noise!
