If you put a mouse on it, you can click on the blank space under RF POWER & it will pull up that DSP window so you can instantly adjust NOTCH, Contour, etc with the mouse itself! Much easier. The NB & DNF work much better than the FTdx-10's. The 710 is effective & without all the distortion. I am very happy with the 710!!! Sold my FTdx-10.
Wow, sold your 10 and prefer the 710 - that says a lot about the product Yaesu is putting out good stuff! Just bought the 710 and still learning all these buttons and knobs (new to HF)
I also sold my dx10 - really did not like it at all! I do love my 101d and a 710 though. Both suit my basestation and portable needs much better than the dx10, and both are a pleasure to use (unlike the dx10).
