So glad you missed the lightning - I remember that time you had to leave the water to take shelter on land from that past storm. Oddly enough when it was pouring rain on you, it was hailing like crazy at our house! Finished our Delta tournament today. That cold front with the hail killed the bite. We had 10 boats participating, yet 5 teams skunked ZERO. 🙁 There isn't an InNOut in Rio Vista, but there is Burgerlicious. I had a corndog hankering, plus thought my poor husband deserved a cheeseburger to kill the pain of defeat. If you're not familiar with Burgerlicious, it's on 650 State Highway 12, Rio Vista (near the bridge.) Stay safe on the water and keep those videos coming. At least you're hooking them even if I can't. 😊

I’m just waiting for on one of those boat flips, that fish is going to hit the twig and cherries and we will have it memorialized on video for time and memorial: Greg’s The Testicular Explosion of all time!!!! Great video. Change jig or better yet, Texas rigged craw-creature with a long wide gap hook. They will not get away!! My feeling is that jigs are kind of bulky and have that weed guard. Those nesting fish are sometimes barely picking it up. You’ll get em with a longer hook. Use your favorite creature like Havoc Pit Boss or something like it. Try it. Take care Greg and gang.

Not sure, but sounds like your drag slips when you set the hook. Maybe the hook isn't getting buried on some of the bass.

Always waiting for your next video! I had the same problem taking a photo with wet fingers. You could turn voice control on for your iPhone by saying "Siri turn on voice control " But first set up a macro that only works when the camera is on with the word "cheese" or "capture" or whatever you want to say. You can find a RU-vid video showing you how to take a photo with a voice command like that. I do it every time now Keep those videos coming!

Your drag always either slips or is just set too loose on single hook baits. Maybe a personal style choice but if I'm punching or jig fishing I have my drag set to hammer strength to drive that single hook.

What gear ratio reels are you using? Maybe get some sharper hooks on your jigs or a slightly longer shank on the hook? Seems like your getting short hit on a few of your fish. Also use your net!!!! Tight lines, as always great content!!!

Not sure what the rules are but a marker Bouy might help you out greatly bed fishing. Allows you to back off the fish and still cast at them well.

It's from the motor. When it use it pushes water up through the hole where the propel drive goes down

I ordered a titan x 10.5 I have a torqeedo 1103 to add on it. I’ll expect to get water in. Should take the scupper plugs out to drain? Also I want to add foot steering. But I wonder if it will interfere with the rod tip holders? Any advice? Thanks.

Yeah, you can just take the scupper plugs out and it goes right out. You can also put your foot on that center piece to create a better seal and keep the water out or just go at a slightly slower speed and it won't come in. Not sure re: rod holders

Hey Greg, how is the nk180 pro? Have you tried that yet? I love my nk180. I've only had it about 8 months. Would it be worth getting the pro? Or is there not much difference besides stealth and longevity?

@sambageian2948 Well, maybe that's what Greg has. But newport just released the nk180 pro, which is supposed to be faster, quieter, and more efficient than the original kn180, which is what I have. I just didn't know if he thought it would be worth getting the pro or just stick with the nk180 which I already love
