- Esscence of Torment Finisher (03:18) (Actually I recorded this to finish this dude with this heat action XD) Great sandbag in Y0 LMFAO Used heat actions twice for style.
This is probably how the Yakuza developers wanted you to defeat him (or at least something like that), but instead we just run around them in circles and strike when they’ve finished their attack animation.
One punch from the bastard can totally wreck you (especially if he follows up on another attack). I just stun lock him by throwing him around with the beast style.
In this video Kiryu entered Brawler style exactly 15 times, which meant going through the same knuckle cracking animation 15 times, and with such an audible cracking noise coming from his hands i must ask: Kiryu, are there any bones left?!
The cracking sound is a result of bits of lubricating fluid in the joints becoming a gas that gets trapped in small pockets. The gas gets released when you move your fingers about in certain ways which causes the gasses to be pushed free and cause a popping/cracking sound.
@@tgkthebawse That's not tool assisted Tool assisted means using external software to have it input commands for you or alter assets in the game directly, and it is used for speedrunning (and cheating) Quick change clothes is just an in-game item
Nice I actually didn't consider using the change styles to break animation This reminds me of pro DMC players when they keep switching Dantes styles, "swor-tric-swor-tric-swor-tric..."
Not only is it an animation cancel, the slowdown is helpful too. That single second of pause can be used to re-evaluate the situation and have better control of the battle. It's like Devil May Cry's moveset variety combined with Guilty Gear's Roman Cancel, in a way.
3:19 That, ladies and gentlemen, is the face of a man who realizes that shaking down the Dragon of Dojima was the worst mistake of his entire life, and also realizes that he's about to be split like a banana.
Very slick. I see the Snatching Strike a few times, a Counter Hook (which has really strict timing) and Rush's Counter Quickstep, which I almost never use, but I see the utility of it.
Those parries at 1:30 and 2:08 were some of the most phenomenal shit. It takes balls just find out if you can even parry or counter that move. Now I wonder if counter-hook and twist-counter night work on it.
I am playing through 0 and I just got the quick change suit, i shrugged it off because I thought it made the animation faster, but I didn’t notice any difference so I thought the time it shaved off wasn’t beneficial, what I didn’t realize is that the animation is so fast it freezes time around kiryu
I didnt even think abt changing styles mid fights since it takes so long but i was clearly mistaken. many thanks for the ideas 💖 Edit: I thought I was easily mowing down enemies before but now I'm absolutely destroying them. I've been defeating everyone from chapter 7 on (which was when i found this) and usually get hit 0-1 times :p. Ofc, I had some trouble with the finance king and going thru the tojo hq and got hit a few more times but I came out without healing and with more than half of my hp. Note that I am not as talented at combat as this person, I'm just very good at cheesing combat and have some talent. The style changing just makes it faster for me to take down ppl so there's less of an opportunity for me to get hit.
Holy Batman, I have never seen this before. I feel inspired to try it however something inside me tells me that Mr Shakedown will probably still beat the Yens out of me1
