PyroShowManCZ my bike is stock apart from the giannelli and the pinion. have you got the "magic wire" behind the front mask securely attached to frame? make sure your jetting is right (in this video i have the stock jetting but now i have bigger jets and it's better). maybe it's just time to replace the piston or the piston rings

Valentin Lesage in this video i have the original noozles in the carburator, but now i have 220 main jet and 22.5 pilot jet (i have done 2 videos about that)

Valentin Lesage when i recorded this video my carburator was completely original. but now i have a bigger main jet (220 instead of 210), a bigger pilot jet (22.5 instead of 17.5) and the pin is in the lowest position (richest). you can run also with the original setting but it's better to modify the carb.

StryHinja yes it is, it the perfect bike if you want more power than a 4 stroke but less manteinance and better consumption than a racing 2 stroke, obviusly it's not a race bike

@@petertoridechannel9361 yes we do but most of these have power valve or in bad condition so finding a dt 125 re like yours in good condition is not so easy. Anyway, nice bike man!

@@enduroswiry2919 nope yours have enduro gearing the gear box of the dt is made for the street means that your rpms are lower and your acceleration is slower but you have higher top speed

Paolo Ferla sul dt dietro la mascherina c'è un connettore in cui entrano 4 cavi e ne escono solo 3, devi collegare il cavo che non esce (verde-nero) al telaio della moto

Paolo Ferla ah ora ricordo, sul vecchio forum di ultramotard (che adesso non va più) mi ricordo che dicevano che quello che sulla mia si fa con il cavo verde/nero sulla tua si fa con un fusibile, ma non so dirti di più, provo a fare qualche ricerca in inglese e poi ti informo

Might of been change at some point peter to ride nice exhaust silencer and one question mate where does the emissions pipe lead too on the dtre i mean the thin silver pipe at the front it would of been on your old factory standard exhaust where does it lead too the air box or something mate

@@officialmysteriousrider6327 thanks! the tube that comes out from the pipe goes firstly into a one-direction valve and then the tube continues and it ends in the behind of the air box, the one-direction valve can make air passing from the air box to the exhaust but the smoke cannot pass from the exaust to the air box, i think it helps to burn the smoke in the pipe and make less pollution. while fitting the giannelli i just have stripped down the tube that goes from the pipe to the valve, the air can't enter into the valve so there is no problem about having too much air in the air filter (in this case there would be poor carburation).

C'è un cavo dietro alla mascherina che va rimosso, se cerchi online trovi risposte, praticamente blocca la valvola di scarico dopo i 6k giri. Se lo rimuovi dovrebbe cambiare un sacco.

Rafael Rodrigues the electric starter is already by factory on the 2004 onwards bikes. the kick starter i have now ( not in this video yet) has been dismantled by an old engine from 1991

Rafael Rodrigues it's not possible unless you change the engine cases, yours doesn't have the hole for the starter motor. so i'd say it's not possible because you'll need also to modify your electrical sistem

ChristianPfuscht what gearing have you got? 16 tooth or 15 tooth pinion? i have to admit there was a bit of wind that day, usually i do 7.9 - 8.0 secs

Because if its a small gearing the Bike ist fast at accelerating but Bad at topspeed and at a high gearing its the opposite... Maybe I am wrong But your dt is fast accelerating but also fast at topspeed so i think the Problem ist mit the gearing it Must be Something else. Thanks for writing

PARTIZAN i have only the 15 tooth pinion, the giannelli exaust and the "magic wire" in the front mask (but with the giannelli there is not a lot of difference between with the wire and without) . the engine is the original 3mb and the carburator is the original mikuni tm 28

Krisu i have the oil pump so oil is always getting to the cylinder even if the throttle is closed. i can engine brake as much as i want

I have the oil pump: oil is always getting into the combustion chamber in the right quantity even with the throttle closed. so I dont have to worry about engine braking
