You also need to prime the oil pump using the bleed nut on top of the oil filter housing... Especially when the filter has been changed. I always do mine manually... A good few kicks over with ignition off then undo bleed nut and keep kicking until oil.comes out, then tighten. I also as extra precaution then undo the oil feed pipe at the top / cam end and ensure oil pumps out of that also... Better safe than sorry 👍👍
Ive never done that, and everytime I opened the valve cover everything looks good and it has oil in the top end immediately. I thought that screw on the filter housing was to test oil pressure.
It's definitely a bleed screw and always worth doing it changed the oil filter... Can actually bleed once running but I prefer kicking over I too comes out the bleed screw then start up and just double check the top oil feed pipe also has oil coming out 👍
Yeah that’s is funny I actually have footage of me checking my spark plug but haven’t edited it I will do that now the main but thing is getting a spark plug socket that is long enough for your wrench to go over the motor. so the socket needs to be like 4-5 inches long
@@takiniteasy2337 use a spark plug socket without the ratchet letting the tip of the spark plug to fit and just put a wrench on the spark plug socket thats how I change mine
I actually don’t know a way, I just follow the guides in the clymer Manuel, but in my opinion if you think you need to top it off I would just change it all together. 👍
