I’m grinding up the IJN BB line now and getting close to completing the Yamamoto campaign. Timely video, I’m psyched!

Yamato was my first TX. Still play it everyday since then. It indeed is such a lovely ship to play! 😎😄

Every ship IJN BB line is very comfortable to play, Izumo rn is very good and I had lots of fun when playing it

I completely agree on Fuso. It is a joy to play at T6.

My most memorable kill made with the Yamato was on a Stalingrad. Devastating Strike and First Blood. And that was before Dead Eye came.

Sometimes it is hard to rack up kills in BBs. I had a 220k damage, zero kill Shikishima match the other night. Left several ships an overpen or two from being sunk after chunking them hard, but it was always somebody else who made the kill.

The IJN BB line goes like this: Kawachi: Painfully innacurate, but the turret arrangement lets you have a lot of guns ready for action. Myogi: Very fast but terribly undergunned because of only having 3 twin turrets. Kongo: Hands down the best british BB there is, and if you dissagree you are just Wrong. Fast speed and VERY long range for spreading BURNING LOVE! Fuso: Guns. Lots of guns. And also decently fast. Probably the best tier 6 techtree BB. Nagato: A great BB with decently fast speed and ok armor and it has 41cm guns!! Also a lot of secondaries. Way better than Colorado, though thata not someting too difficult to achieve (also what up with all these Nagato haters?) Amagi: A faster Nagato with 1 extra turret and a semi-turtleback armor ? Yes please. Amagi is godlike. Never have had big dispersion issues outside of the normal BB thing (again, whats up with the Amagi haters?) Izumo: This thing... It used to be the trashiest tier 9 BB. It is supposedly buffed to god status now. Always hated the turret configuration so I still believe is underwhelming. Yamato: The one and only (besides her sister Musashi and the "Super Yamato" Shikishima) this video summarizes entirely what Yamato is. Also, it is the only tier 10 BB in the game that actually existed. That alone should be reason enough to have her and love her.

Yeah deadeye really makes Yamato shining. Overmatch gets very strong if you can land multiple hits on bow-on BBs. Combined with legendary module, its tasty damage, sometimes can even fight Thunderers one on one

i can imagine what 18 seconds yamato 460mm can do !

For april 1st i hope there is a mode where reload is reduced by 50 or more % but its in a hopper of other weird modes, like supper fast ships (100kph+) or the mixed like last time.

yammy has by far the slowest shell travel time at tier 10 which is 9.3 sec to 15km Izumo shell travel time is 7.8 sec to 15km...... American ships are around 8.6 sec turret traverse used to be 49.9, now its 55.2

No way in hell the armoured flight deck of any carrier could bounce or shatter 18.1 inch shells plunging down on their deck. It would go through like a hot knife through butter.

To be honest I love FUSO, Nagato, Amagi and Izumo (Yamato for sure).. from the 3 at the bottom Amagi is my favorite, then Fuso and last Nagato.

This ship has been two years in my port, I have only played something like 70 games with it, with avg dmg like 76k. and I dont feel comfy with it. Maybe just rng is messing with me ;) But very nice video and tutorial!

It's funny, on mine, Nagari is a their 6. You have to unlock the Yamato in the bureau.

After playing a game in my Yamato and getting burnt down by a conqueror i have decided my next T10 will be the conq.

I totally agree about the Amagi. The guns were so absolutely inconsistent. Izumo was a breath of fresh air after grinding through Amagi.

Sorry, but I have to call out your defensive of the fighter consumable. You said it comes down to not understanding how it works, but it's apparently designed to always let the first strike through, and only then destroy the planes. You can see this at the 11:30 mark. The fighters are completely ignoring the incoming torpedo planes, and those only die from the regular aa. You kinda of suggest this by saying that it will prevent the same squad from striking you repeatedly, which is true, but that's leaving out the fairly significant first part of the process: nothing happens.

Yamato is a good ship to play easy to control and easy to hit all her shell

The Japanese BB line was my first reset. I never played them, and I don't like any of them except Fuso and Amagi. Now I'm at Nagato and it's taking me ages, and I'm reminded why I don't like them.

With the fighter mod, is it actually worth turning off your AA while they're up to get the most out of them? I just think it's weird how your own ship AA counts towards that guaranteed 4 or so planes that the fighters will shoot down. Granted, Yamato's AA isn't all that useful anyway, but still.

Nagato was my best tier 7 battleship, I did my best battle in that tier with nagato (212k damage... In a nagato yeah!!!)

So would you say that taking 30k citadel damage from one FDR strike is a weakness? Because the CV players, which i have met, keep telling me that long rance sniping is the counter. I just can't make up my mind...

I will go for extra heal because I play more in range and more in support role

just add 3 more of those guns that can not overmatch like the Yamato and you'll get + 20 seconds in reload.

I have Yamato that wa my second T10 BB researched , have premium camo for her , and I dont play it ... I dont know why ? , in this year I played Franch cruisers & battleships RB , then I played like 2 battles on Paolo Emilio , and this month , ranked Benham & Thunderer , and april halloween ships , game is basically grind for me , no fun what so ever -_-

Ever since I have unlocked the Yamato I hate the ship. It’s dispersion feels like a tier 8 battleship even with every buff I can put on it :(. Imo I would just rather play a Vermont

Seriously... BBs able to dev strike a full hp Donskoi at 22km - thanks to dead eye - is just bad for the gameplay. Thats one of the resons why I stoppped playing WoWs a few moths ago.

Yamamoto should be reworked because he got powercreeped hard. He doesn't fit the IJN ships and his 2nd skill is too unreliable.

This is exactly why I hate Yamato. I have it, I almost never play it. It really just promotes sniping and boring gameplay.
