@@mikerichardson7053 you’re right and I worry they are gonna really hurt him for the future. I know the technology is better and they are monitoring him but for years teams have limited innings increase and still do in most cases to limit injuries. I won’t be surprised if Gil and Crochet don’t have injury setbacks I hope not but won’t be surprised

Sorry but if dj lemehuie can make fifteen million a year batting .182 with 11 runs zero homers and 11 rbi and give up on balls at third and barely run balls out and is always hurt and Stanton makes Harper money and is always hurt and Rizzo makes eighteen million and is always hurt and they refuse to cut anyone lose but still need to score runs and actually have an above average starting rotation all except one of which is controlled beyond the next two seasons why trade the one bright spot in our entire system who’s a phenom with a slow heart beat never phased who is 4.5 tool from both sides of the plate and just now turning 21 for an “ace” who’s played five years but Never thrown 150 innings one time in his short career already had Tommy John surgery once and had a second major surgery once more after that? Who’s also a free agent in 2026? Which would be Dominguez likely second full season as full time player? You say Dominguez always hurt but they both have a Tommy John surgery under their belt. One guy is a second and his job is to throw the baseball. Did I mention the one and only season skubal threw 149.1 inning his career high he also gave up 35 home runs . His career record is 33-30. You wanna keep Soto at 55-60 million a year genius? To do so you absolutely need going controllable INEXPENSIVE talent around Soto and judge and Cole otherwise it’s gonna be Calhoun and frenchy all over again. Hal doesn’t want to spend what he spends right now outright says it. Jones and Soto and Ramirez and Hampton and Gil and volpe and rice and wells are the players who offset our ability to sign Soto and judge and Cole and over pay rodon and Stanton for four more years and dj for three and still compete annually. And dominguez has only had a cup of coffee in the majors and has already needed a form of tjs and on top of that hurt himself so badly swinging the bat that he had to miss 2 months and he is only like 20 . Way i see it its one injury prone player for another

Pitchers can’t endure tj the same way position players can. Ohtani recovering from tj is an mvp favorite offensively. Dominguez is the third best player on our team lol they just won’t use him cause cashman is a bozo
