O's just got done playing 30 games in 31 days at the end of June and they went 18-12 which included a 5-games losing streak which was their longest losing steak in 2 years. It was a stretch that included playing against Yanks, Braves, Phillies, Houston and Cleveland. So I laugh when I hear these people make excuses for Yanks.

Pitching has become so Bad. And ever since the Red Sox series, their defense has been exposed, their pressure to the ball is non existent, their in field defense is abysmal and slow. Forget about the injuries, they have to figure out why this pitching staff looks worse than ever out of no where.

As far as Verdugo goes. He was like this in Boston, very hot or very cold offensively, a reliable defender though.

As a Yankees fan the next 3 series absolutely terrify me Boston, Tampa Bay, and then Baltimore before the All Star Break and all of them are gonna look to stick it to the Yankees

Simple! The pitchers are trying harder knowing their team can't score runs! Don't know how much these players make, should have a quota system! Don't reach your quota, payroll deduction! Soto & Judge are trying their best, the others are just waiting for their paychecks! Send them back to the minors along with the coaching staff!

What judge said is factually not true. I also don't know if I want the leader of my team excusing poor performance over a relatively long period of time. There have been many championship teams that have never had the type of recent skid that the Yankees are currently in. They've lost 10 games in the standings, and half their lineup can't hit. That is not normal. None of the 3 red sox world championship teams ever lost 5 in a row. The 98 Yankees never lost 5 in a row. They were consistent from beginning to end. I really don't like that comment from judge...I think that's a loser comment.

Yankees will not win a world series as long as cashman and boone are in charge. There is no championship culture with this team anymore. As great as judge is, he does not have that Jeter factor.
