Its that time for the yearly maintenance on the Husqvarna 460 Rancher chainsaw! In this video I show the things that need to be replaced on a yearly basis, the spark plug, the air cleaner, the fuel filter, and in this case, the gas in the tank. Those air filters are usually a clamshell design that allows you to split them in half and blow them out from the inside to the outside with compressed air.

thank you that was very informative especially the air filter cleaning tip ! your presentation made it great ! I have a 460 as well and now think i shouldda gotten a Stihl since i think they seem to be tested the best, but this 460 been great once i figured out that i was flooding it every time i tried starting because you leave the throttle alone when starting. it starts on 1st or second pull every time! i need to watch your tune up video now.

We live in a pine-free area, but I love the smell when cutting pine 😊

Hi Mojo, I did a little research into husquvana, they originally made muskets for the sweedish army in 1809 then in 1909 they made motor cycles,

I knew they went back - I was thinking even further than that like Krupp from Germany - but I think Krupp went belly-up awhile back. There are lots of Swedes and Norwegian's in this area so Husqvarna is a big seller here 😊

Not a fan of Chinese made parts. I like oem parts from husvarna because the do a better job and they protect the engine better..auto lite plugs are made in China...I know it's an old company but so is huskvarna. Huskvarna is made in sweden not China

@@fernhoppertimberworks8037 Autolite are great plugs wherever they are made. They are better than the Husqvarna plugs - which are likely made in China as well.
