Yes kind of had that feeling my self, hence I tested the water before even getting the car…. Hence my thinking was right too many idiots and too much hassle. Lucky have a deposit on it already, see what happens on Saturday. Definitely role on summer, miss the light nights, and tinkering on with the C230/ML/ZX Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Really good example Dan. I'd do it up and keep it. I had the Ghia estate 130 version blanked the EGR as I got sick of cleaning out the inlet ports and manifold that were caked in egr fed shyte.

Yes best way is the blank them off, otherwise you have no end of problems. Plus they drive far better and better MPG. I really want to keep it, but only few months down the line, the C230/ZX/ML350 will be back on the road, as well as the Altea, so the mondeo will be hard one to justify to keep unfortunately. Not a bad example. I think you’re the first enthusiast I’ve stumbled across that prefers the pre-facelift. I do like this colour for it though. The grille update was part of the 2003 facelift, which is my preference, but the lines in the rear lights were part of the 2005 facelift, and I’m not a fan of that at all.

Yeah it’s a cracking old car, I like all the MK3 tbh, but I do much prefer the x3 simple heating dials on the pre face lift. Getting my black MK3 estate back tomorrow
