I cannot thank you enough Paula, for gently guiding me through each of your sessions. This is one of the best, helping me with my lower back. Your calm , soothing voice and clear instruction for each movement enable me to follow with great understanding. I bow to you as my yoga guru .
Inner power and autonomy have you bowing to no external power or guru. You help yourself, you are your own teacher. You can certainly appreciate the fellow men and women who teach and guide you but the minute you hand over your power to someone else as “my yoga guru”.... you are out of your own power.... same mindset as believing Drs and government.
This was the video that made me sign up for patreon. I was sat there trying to craft the perfect comment and quickly realized I was speechless. I'm glad I found this video again. Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you, Paula! I am feeling better… wow! It’s been a month already, I guess I did better this time around than ever previous: thanks to you (and a few others) putting out quality RU-vid content. Thank you so much. You have changed my life for the better and I so appreciate you.
@@yoginimelbourne I have come back again, it really is may favourite - I LOVE the camel pose and could stay in it forever. When i was a young girl i remember loving doing it then with both knees up behind at the same time and back flat on the floor!! At 60 that is not now possible, but love your version of this pose, i really start to drift off and the music makes it so extra relaxing thank you x
Thank you Paula! I really enjoy your practises. I started doing them every day for a while now. Its an interesting journey learning to stay present with.. everything! Boundary's. Poses that I cant even get into (yet)! Slowly getting to know my own body more. Would love to see more yin-yoga practises (preferably without music). Grateful to have found you! Thanks to my friend who linked me. We tell each other 'Paula for Life!' :)
This is so super sweet to hear! Thank you for sharing and there are definitely more yin practices on the way (I prefer them without music too usually) xox
so I have a constant pattern of avoidance. this practice really helps me to face the uncomfortable, discover and explore, and nothing becomes too hard after that.
I loved this one! The half saddle one (or "disgruntled starfish" as I have come to refer it to, when my gf and I discuss your poses) was the hardest pose for me, so I really liked all the alternative s you suggested. Thank you, and Happy New Year, Paula.
