Honestly feel happy for Matthew Patthew. His 30+ FNAF theories paid off. Plus as silly as that “just a theory” line was didn’t feel like he overstayed his welcome. But hey, that’s just an opinion.

this was such a goofy and cheesy cameo i cant help but love it. good on matpat.

This was the only moment I unironcally enjoyed. It was a fun, well-deserved cameo, the audience lit up and was good for a chuckle. It was actually the only time I really heard the audience react.

Why to people need to say "honestly good for him" like why the honestly, why cant we just be happy he made it.

matpat gets a pretty unfair bad rep for having cringy theories (which they are) but idk he doesnt really take himself seriously enough for it to bother me. he hasnt really done much that warrants the crazy hate he gets. anyways this cameo was amazing

You know what? Good for him. He made it. Nine of years of making videos on FNAF finally paid off. And you just knew they had to throw in that “it’s just a theory” line because they clearly know who he is (and by “they” I mean Scott Cawthon) and it was probably now or never. I mean, it would be a huge missed opportunity not to have him. Also “Ness?” Didn’t even notice. Years later and he still can’t let it down. Besides, at least his cameo made sense. Can’t really say the same for CoryxKenshin.

At least the cameos in this are not distracting, than basing an entire lead, starring an A-list RU-vidr

Say what you want about his theories, but what I admire about MatPat is his total sense of self awareness, he embraces that he’s known for FNAF theories and is very positive about it, nothing but respect for the dude. He was literally in a feature length Hollywood production, Blumhouse no less so he’s genuinely made it.

Those tweets from toby fox had nothing to do with the theory, he was mad that matpat brought attention to Toby fox’s previous mod he did when he was young where he use a gay slur. Matpat meant nothing by it but Toby fox didn’t like having that brought to light. It was stupid.

I can't really hate MatPat any more. Not because his content is any good, it's not, but after seeing soon many RU-vidrs turn out to be irredeemably horrible people I just kind of shrug and go "eh, at least he looks like he's having fun."

This was a worthwhile cameo for MatPat. He spent nearly a decade dissecting FNAF's confusing-ass story, and finally got a chance to be in one scene of the FNAF movie.

I have a friend who not only works at a movie theater, but also has some slight face blindness that somehow always applies to Mat Pat, and she saw that cameo like, 5 times during various screenings before she finally asked a coworker what the big deal was. We actually watched the movie together as a group the other night, kinda liked it.

Fun fact this scene is basically Scene one day one and action basically this scene was the very first one they recorded before making the beginning of the movie Matpad himself confirmed it

The biggest problem with this movie is that it can't decide if it's a movie for the FNAF fans or if it's trying to make a good adaptation of the source material that happens to be a good adaptation, so it uses the whole "hurr durr I'm a sad dad except not really because she's my sister and not my daughter" thing as a backdrop and it can't really nail meshing the two together. The goofy, campy fanservicy bits are at odds with the attempts at sErIoUs DrAmA and the shifts between the two stories can almost be physically felt.

The unimaginable flood of autism for making a decently popular game was too much for anyone to immediately have to handle.
