Join me for the 28-day Head to Toe yoga challenge! Hi Joelle, I started with the warm up, followed by Day 24 and ended with the IT Band Pain routine! It felt really good after! Like you, my right hip has chronic bursitis which have been under control since I started doing your hip pain routines. But my left is weaker and much tighter. But the main reason I'm commenting right now is to congratulate you for hitting 8k!!! You doubled your base in 2 months! That looks like the inflection point I was referring to in my earlier comment. So happy for you! I'm sure the rate of growth will continue to accelerate. Congrats again!! Well done!

Didn’t know what to do with the short routines at first but eventually partnered them with your existing videos on the focused area or a yin yoga. I've been having IT Band issues for years so it was helpful to have new poses to help with the issue. BTW, I shared this 28 Day challenge with friends who asked for a yoga reference. This will be grer to get them started. Namaste 🙏🏾

Hooray, sphinx pose is back! I am surprisingly not so tight in this area and had a lovely calf stretch in the downward facing dog move. Still felt great in the side of my legs though!

Ah, the IT Band can be a tricky area to work on because we rarely think about it unless it's tight or painful! Typically an imbalance can be linked to one hip or set of glutes being weaker/tighter than the other, so it may just be something to pay attention to. If you haven't tried my IT Band Pain practice yet (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WbDS4XE5SKs.html), that could be a nice one to check in on, and you can always try a few extra repetitions on the weaker side. I hope that helps, well done! 👏

I guess this is a good practice for the piriformis syndrome too…Am I right? I’ll come back to this class

It's a great one to come back to for sure, although there are other classes I'd say target the piriformis more closely.
