I used to run a lot, and trying to get back into it, I'm hoping for some routine stretches to get past that initial soreness after running again. Hope this helps!

I started doing these stretches 12 years ago when I picked up running. This routine has been with me and will be a part of my life forever. I'm not sure if there's anything else in my life that I've sticked with so strongly... Anyway, thanks Karen! You and your smile have accompanied me through a lot of stuff in my life, and somehow, I feel like we are friends...
i just did this after my run and it feels great!! i now feel like my legs are very light and my muscles are flexible. thank you SO much!! gonna do this every time from now on

Wonderful video! I know it's been a while since it was posted, but thank you SO MUCH for posting it. I ran on Wednesday without it and again today (Friday) with it and my body feels so much better post-run today than it did Wednesday. :D

This was awesome! I really dislike stretching but i've finally accepted the importance of it. This was such a good way to ease back into it especially after a run. Love it!

This was perfect for me! I have been working out and running for more than 30 years +/-, I must say pre and post stretches or warmups/cooldowns are very important for me at age 52. I always took it for granted and either didn't take the time r barely did any. Now I have had sciatica, plantar fasciitis, headaches from neck muscles etc, but they all stem from doing something wrong so now I'm taking the time to stretch, or warmup correctly before and after exercise or doing heavy lifting. Hope this helps others that are watching. Thank you and enjoyed your vids.

Hi. Thank you SO much for this video. I have had issues with my left hamstring and both my hips for years. I'm 29, and run about 6 miles 3 or 4 times a week...and was just having such trouble. For the past month or so I've been doing these stretches after each run and I am completely cured! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much!
I recently tweaked a muscle my back and the Dr told me to do runners stretches to help work the muscle and pain out. The one he recomended most is the one you are doing at 3:48. I want to thank you for your explinations as you are doing these. Great informative vid again thank you.
Excellent routine. I performed the routine this morning after having ran a Spartan race yesterday. Of course, I woke up this morning feeling tight and sore, so this really helped. I'm gonna do it again after breakfast. What would be really cool is to see you perform this routine in a nice, quite room, without all the background noise, mainly just the wind at the end. I loved the routine though. Thank you for sharing this with us.
This is the best and most concise post run stretching video on RU-vid! I do it after every run at least 2 or 3 times. Thanks a million times over for the great routine!
After a 8 km run last week I only did a 2-minute standing stretch routine dating back to P.E. in school, and that just wasn't cutting it. I have much higher hopes for avoiding soreness after doing this routine. Thanks for that, pretty lady!
Thank you for this perfect video! I started running a year ago and this past summer my feet started falling asleep while running (no my shoes were not laced to tight) and I googled what to do and several people said yoga and I so I searched and found this video. My feet haven't fallen asleep since doing this. I have even started doing yoga on the days I don't run thanks to you!!! I love it!
I've been running off and on for this passed year because I often got cramps in my legs. Now, I found this channel and I'm doing the streaking with great results. Thank you for making me love running again.
