This back tension release yoga routine is the best one I found on RU-vid. please keep up the good work. I find all your routines do exactly what they say in the title
Thank you! This is a perfectly explained/taught/demonstrated sequence. It helps me with back pain every single time like no other exercise. I've done it so many times now that know the words in this video by heart :D Esther, you are a brilliant yoga teacher!
Esther, I woke up with severe lower back tension and ache which has been building up, due to my now very sedentary grad student life. A few of your lower back tension relief videos have helped tremendously. It's like magic! Thanks so much!
Fantastic! I was just starting to feel some minor tension building in my lower back the last two days. This video was just the ticket for helping me release that tension and move on feeling great! Namaste Ester, always love your classes:)
When did you go to the Netherlands?? I just transferred to Cork and was hoping to do some classes with you. Now you are gone! Why (of course you don't need to answer that!) Thanks in any event for your excellent videos and good luck, whatever direction you take.
Thank you for this video, Esther. If you can, could you provide more explanation on what you mean when you instruct that the one side is 'receptive'? I'm not familiar with this term.
I think Esther means relaxed or accepting - the muscles should stay relaxed on one side of your body to accept the twist. The other side of your body is active or encouraging the twist - the muscles this side do the main work of turning your torso into the twist.
Hi Esther, thank you for this, i just wanted to ask if you ever use something like foamrolling or triggerpoints? I have got a bunch of knots in my calves which are pretty stuborn not responding to anything i tried thus far, resulting in random cramps.
This is very nice, but one problem i have is that I don't know when my spine is straight. I can never tell when I'm sitting up straight when I'm doing a yoga pose, does anyone know how to help/fix that?
i can't keep my back straight at all when I'm sitting with extended legs and I have to bend my legs a lot to ensure my back is straight. what exercise should I do to work on this problem? are my quads too tight?
