I had a total hysterectomy 7 years ago, ovarian cancer, I was 50 years old. I had hot flashes and night sweats. Then about a year or 2 ago I have started to gain weight, I still eat the same, fast the same and workout 5-6 times a day and can’t get it off.

Dr.Pelz Please help so confused I watched Dr.Hubberman and Dr.Sims was the guest she claims fasting is causing too much stress and spiking cortisol and not to fast but to eat within 30 min of waking and consume a lot of protein i just did a 36 hour fast as Im a huge fan and felt great and love doing these fasts for a reset This Doctor claims its too stressful and women shouldn’t do it ? Not sure if you know this women but it feels so contradictory to everything I’ve been doing the last 7yrs

I am a menstruating 26y/o, with some symptoms of PCOS and pre diabetes. Anyway! I fast 16/8 and sometimes 36-72. Recently I fasted 96hours went from 206 to 200. It was the perfect time to workout, so I did. I use prework out. Stepped on the scale and gained 5lbs, now I gained 6-8lbs (fluctuating) and im at 208. I broke my fast like I normally would. I use ‘Transparent Labs Bulk Pre Training Formula’ Does pre-work drinks make me retain water? Could you do a video on that? Theres no way I ate 8lbs worth of food. I was so close to 199. Im getting discouraged. Thank you ❤️

How often do you weigh?. I weigh first thing in morning. Pre-workout drinks are electrolytes so they may on some people due to the sodium. So make sure one drink only. After a fast when you start eating you may gain some back. Especially if you binge eat. Just keep trying and you will be a winner. I am 73 and it is much harder for me. I was 188 yesterday and 194 today. But as weeks go by if my low weight keeps going down and my cloths keep more loose. Then we are both winners

Oh yes working out will give you muscle. Which will add weight. Lost inches though.. keep at it though.

@@joycepappan4796 That week I weighed myself every other day. The week before I went from 212 to 206 and that weight hasn’t come back. Thank god! Then I went from 206 to 200 and was excited. Now im stuck at 204-208lbs. I actually didnt binge eat when I broke that fast, but ate later than I should have. Prework out is just so awesome because it keeps me focused on my workout. When I was on my 96 hour fast, I didn’t exercise, no prework out and didnt drink as much water. Even being a week away from my day 1 cycle, im noticing inches off of my waistline, and back! I am bloated though.. I use the rower and my entire back is shrinking. I just want to get into the 190s so bad. Thanks for your insight! ❤️

Hello all, I have been fasting for about 8-10 months now. I varied my fasts very often. I am a 34 yo woman and my menstrual cycles have always been right on time like clockwork. However, I tried OMAD (frequently but not everyday) for about a month and this time I got period about 9 days earlier. Wondering if anyone experienced something similar. I don’t have pain or anything but wondering if this is normal. Thanks ❤

I have PMDD and I also deal with migraines. Contrary to your teachings I have found that I no longer get severe drug resistant menstrual migraines by cutting out carbs especially the week before my cycle. What are your thoughts on this?
