I want to thank you for using this specific language, talking about gems. It has reminded me of a letter my friend gave me in rehab. She wrote "you are like a lost gem. This gem should not be lost, it should be treasured." You are so right in all that you say here. Also, when you said requiring "care, consistency, protection" YES! AND you called me out talking about looking at your life. I'm looking around my space, being like "is this the space of someone who cares, who really values themselves?" and the answer is no...! Thank you for reminding me of that letter, and for this inspiring video🧡and also for the motivation to clean UP lol

This morning is got up and did my skin care, turned my pc on and started studying. I get up for a breakfast break, and i see this video. I am so proud of myself for finally showing up for myself, and girlies, like Nike says, just do it. It may seem hard and scary but does depending on others not scare you more? There is so much in this world for you to experience, so just do it. I believe in you, have a nice day!

*silent tears rolling down* I had a three week sick leave from work because I was NOT taking care of my HEALTH! My Self! My mental health. My physical body. And so i crashed. Badly. Chest infection turned pneumonia. One week solid of nebulization and daily injections 😢. Then two weeks actually three...of medication, doctor's visits. My body reminded me, harshly....that I was/have NOT been caring for myself like a Gem. My environment hasnt been the best, guess it reflects my mindspace. Alsooo...have been sleeping on my talents. Bigtime! Time to dust them off. Spirit sent this as the beautiful TIMELY reminder I NEEDED❤. Thank you. I am subscribing.
