Rosenbaum owns every scene he's in. I was defending Smallville again yesterday, the guy was complaining about how it was 10 years of nothing, if he hated the show so badly how would he know anything about the show?
I'm on my 2nd rewatch of the show. It is without a doubt the best CW Show ever. Maybe The Flash surpassed Smallville but whatever, to me it's the best series I have ever seen.
I watched it all for Rosenbaum and to review it. Simple as that. The rest of the show is total garbage surpassed by much better superhero entertainment like Black Lightning or Arrow.
Smallville was the best thing to ever come from CW, they brought in a lot of the justice league, without the need to spread everything between countless shows in effort to force people to watch them all. Today it’s nothing but SJW garbage, and I’m a liberal.
@TheMegaUzumaki yeah but "SELFISH" is hardly the long and the short of why Lana Lang can't be trusted she fixates on wrongs (either real or perceived) doesn't relent and she's more devious in execution than anyone "EXCEPT a Luthor" thinks to give her credit for... Clark is usually blinded by the pedestal image of the girl he first fell in love with
hard to know, that's 1 of the joys of the Clark and Lex relationship, we can believe that Clark's lies are what pushed him into being evil BUT I don't believe he's all at fault since Lex was too obsessed to the point that he never let the car incident go, maybe if he stopped with being so obsessive then Clark would've actually trusted him more
until i met you Too right he was. He thought that just because he'd had a crush on her for years it meant that she could do no wrong. Another thing Clark was naive about IMO was his obsession with trying to see good in everyone even though most of his enemies had no good in them whatsoever.
I really wish they could show a character who is the will-always-do-good type, but isn't so naive as to think everyone else will. A pure good character can be both good and smart
I would killed lex right then and there he broke into clarks home and starts yelling at him i know clark does the same thing but Lex is a Luthor and shouldn't be trusted
Lana was horrible. Period. So people have shit they wanna keep private; get over it! How about you enjoy and appreciate the fact that you’re alive? Nope. I’m Lana Lang and I have to know the truth about EVERYTHING! Stop it. In today’s reality, Clark would’ve left her a long time ago because: NEWSFLASH us men like to keep shit to ourselves sometimes. He wasn’t cheating, he never hit her, and he was always her shoulder to cry on. All he wanted was to keep that side a secret. “No, he should’ve told her the truth!” Fine, but if you remember, he did in season 5 and she died. And Clark’s dumbass was so in love, he put her before any of the other people Jor-el said could die to balance the scales. And in the end, she runs right into the arms of his friend. “But she stayed with Lex to protect Clark!” Bullshit! A simple warning message thru Chloe to Clark could’ve saved him some heartache. Lois attacked a phantom (Kane) to protect Clark, just in case any Lana lovers still need perspective.
@@enrk2195 , Clark telling Chloe and Lana that he’s an Alien from outer space is like if Pudding immediately told Sanji in Dressrosa that she has three eyes 👀 instead of two eyes, and of course his reason for not telling them makes logical sense because ordinary people would lose their shit, or them wanting to dissect him, and doing test on him like he’s human Guinea pig, so yes he couldn’t have told Pete, Lana, Lex, and Chloe immediately who he is because he always felt that he that they’d betray him if he ever told his secret to them.
@@enrk2195 Lana had no right to know. Deep down inside Clark knew he couldn't trust her, bcoz he feared that she would blame her for her parents' death. Plus Lana always trusted other people more than she trusted Clark. And when he finally told her the truth, she got killed. So he decided to let her go, so that she can move on with her life. But what did she do? She gets involved with Lex just to spite him. Clark owed Lana nothing.
@@raphaelzeon4422and she fucked bizarro as a indirect spite and gaslighted Clark because of it. "Cause he was more open" like Clark told you his secret after years of her prying wtf else does she want? She doesn't know and Clark suffered cause of it
@@jjeebo2563 , Smallvile is my most favorite superhero tv series, and I love it as much as I love One Piece, so I know the reason on why Clark not telling Chloe, Pete, and Lana his secret makes total logical sense in the long ongoing narrative of the series.
