“You can put on your fake face every morning, but don’t pretend like I don’t know you”.

There is a time someone says I love you for the last time and at that time you have no idea it’s the last. There is a time they hug you with so much care and you have no idea it’s never going to happen again. The time when you look into their eyes and smile for the last time. These are things that you don’t appreciate until they never happen again... until it’s all over...

This poem describes my "best friend". She is so much like this that I literally cried.

first time hearing this poem and one sentence: it doesn’t matter what other people think about you, but rather if there a good friend, some ‘friends’ can really break you, so, be what you want, don’t let people have impact on who you are because your YOU, and that’s perfect for me❤️

Your words touched me so much, when i heard your voice i remembered Hannah in 13R Why( same voice😀). "There is always someone in your life to talk about all things they will help you."

This spoken poetry has hit me hard. But if you're reading this know you're not alone no matter what. We all have those times where we feel like we can't do anything. Don't let things hurt you. Always be yourself! Never give up no matter what happens. Keep fighting! If you ever need to talk I'm always here for y'all. Your loved, amazing, cared for, and strong! I love you all!

Omg those words are so related to me...and I have been suffering from loneliness for 9 years and a year ago I had my first breakup which made my life a little bit worst...and there are no loved ones here...It feels like shit honestly! Btw I love your voice so much and especially your selection of words ❤️

I'm intensely insecure about myself. I abhor and loathe everything about me. The way this poem spoke to me is viscerally surreal. It seemed like my consciousness, which I hate with passion, was talking to me. I'm in tears.

"You know what? Go ahead.. go ahead and tell *everyone* you hate me. Tell everyone you wish I was *dead.* Tell them you *never* want to see me do better. Tell them that you wish happy *never* works out for me. Go ahead. Tell them. Tell them *every single* horrible thing that I *ever* did to you. Tell them everything I said that made you want to end it. Tell them *everything,* but don't forget out the times I *was* there. Don't forget to mention those times when you cried, I was there. Don't forget to tell them what I did to make you laugh or smile. Don't forget to tell them what we did together. You can make them *hate* me if you want to, I really don't care, just make sure you tell them the good as well. Make it balance. When I hear your name, I smile. When you hear mine, I can only imagine that you *cringe.* See, I can't pretend that I hate you because nothing could push me that far. You can put on your fake face *every morning,* but don't pretend like I don't know you.. or at least, I used to. So yeah, go ahead, tell them. Tell them what you want to, 'cause I know you. I know that you will. Make me *evil.* Go ahead, 'cause I tried to fight for you *again.* and instead of being who I *thought* you were, you laughed and told me to put out the fire with my tears. So, I did and never once have you been brought off that golden pedestal. So go ahead. Tell *everyone* you *hate* me, because I'm done pretending."

This really captures how I feel after the very toxic relationship I got out of a month ago with this girl. I know it probably is not intended for that situation but it makes me feel less alone so thank you.

Dont ever suspect that am one of those types who tattletales..esp when things arent proven as seriously as it seems.I always give some benefits of d'doubts esp if i kno the deeper side of the person.I avoid adding fire to the injury as its not fair..i try not t o do injustice in all associates that ive known.n cared..restitution is the best aporoach.So lift up your spirits..you are loved n cared bcoz youre really a nice person deep inside ..i kno that for sure.I want u to get out your ruts n be happy.Life is short n beautiful.I love u too.

we were fine for almost 2 years. she was ALWAYS there for me. she stopped me from ending my life. we were fine until one day she stopped talking to me with no warning. and she told me i made her uncomfortable and she said she didn’t want to know that she had saved me. she broke me in front of everyone. and yet, i will always love her

I’m going back to school this Tuesday and this relates to so many ppl with me all I ever tried to be was perfect for them do whatever for them I would literally drop my whole day for them and now.. they all hate me and their friends too bc ofc they had to tell them and get them to hate me..

This is *exactly* like my sister. She calls my parents abusive, when they're really not. She legit came up to me 'cause she was mad and said "Great, now you made [my cousins] hate me. I hate you." I asked them if they did anything, and they didn't. She's trying to make up a world where life is hell for her, when in reality, she's making it hell for herself.

I’ve just been drifting away from my “friend” We stopped being friends now but before it was just sad and lonely knowing I was the one talking while they just replied with short comments or long rants. Like I was someone to talk to until they got other friends and I didn’t. Then I was just convenient when they were bored. But never once have I talked bad about them, no matter how lonely or numb I felt, no matter how many ignored texts i got, no matter how many “hey I’ll ttyl” I got when they never did, it doesn’t matter that they didn’t even tell me “hey I’m busy” cause I know it always the words that are unspoken “I’m too busy hanging with my friends or just don’t want to talk to you but I’m not going to tell you that” It always happens when I try to make new friends we talk for a few days and just when I think everything is going well, “text seen” no reply “ Not delivered” blocked. In the end I’m just a replaceable object to talk to until everyone moves on.

This hits home big time...

What good is love in absence,what good is love alone,what good is your computer with no internet,your phone with noone to call,what good is a relationship if you relate or have relations,what good is having pure intentions when they are destroyed by ill perspective, I can keep loving,being there,I can keep providing and hoping,but what is the the actual goal,to love,hold and cherish or to me a dream and one day wake and realize everyone is gone and it was real,each smile missed,each laugh drowned out sorrow,each potential beautiful moment,each potential cherished moment destroyed by one anothers absence,a strong WE of you and I,became,he and her,a union denied,feelings ignored and lost withing the heart,knowing better than to come back, Love is not painful,love is not hard ,love is magical love is none of those things until you expect it to be anything else,the n love will become a cycle of resentments and hurt,hurt by my own mind and her absence, and she the same but in constant motion

How is someone to feel when to them it looks like all hope is gone. Maybe they have fought it for so long that this is all the has been shown and whenits lkke that it is easy to give up without hope that it will end and it is never going to be when you lose hope I am starting to do just that in my own life I believed in something so much that it will take everything from me. My heart is only filled with the hope and its breaks a bit more everyday. So the fact is what can a guy like myself do if what I seek does not wish to make its self known in the real world but instead it wants to just stay in the dark to where I am losing sight of my hope. Could you ever change what you yourself sees in the dark. I say you cant because you are in the dark and hope is in the light of day.my heart is what this is and hope hold that in my chest.

This is something that is happening to me recently i feel that completely..thanks..n agh idk what to do. At all. He can call me so many things and spread stuff when..i never yelled at him called him stuff or ever disregard him..but no he says i did..when i could easily talk to other people and 'my ex' as he did he talked to his ex.. and told her all sorts of things when we smiled and laughed the other day n him tryna br there for me for once n i believed him..instead it seems he is tryna put me to sleep so he can play n hang with friends..call his ex and call it his cousin or say its his friends or an doctors appointment but its his ex..and him calling me a bitch n i am crazy.. n mad n we are going thru a long distance relationship n he has the nerve to keep on lying n lying n lying..when whenever ppl talk bad about him i get mad..n tell them to stop n talk all bout the amazing things about him. Never the bad. At all but i can.. But his ex? N that i am what..i was there for him thru everything..n jus..wow... Idk what to do. Rn He talked all sorts of things n i was jus the person who blows him up like a whore.. N he says he wont do it again..im saying okay.. n he just agh..so many lies idk what to do.. but im allowing it cuz i love him He is showing me he wont do it again n realize his mistakes But idk.. honestly Now im jus giving him another chance when i gave him chances for years..so yea..hah.. I gave him everything for him n i feel so disregarded n not pretty now. I stood by his side n supported him everything he does help him with everything.. always listen n understand even when my emotions are disregarded n he is everything. Jus agh..he always justifies himself over everything to even calling me a bitch n says he was doing that to hope to get his ex to back away when he admited to saying he told her..that he broke it off with us and jus tryna lure her out..n said i made him start calling me his fiance..when he started it n told me to tell everybody that. I never talked bad about him never taked to exs or friends n barely even chat with friends or do my own thing cuz he questions or like im not giving him attention? When i do when he averts his eyes to others. Just what am I wrong? I followed everything n to make him smile n that i see him. N support him n be there for him n he tramples over me. N say im not there for him. To others. N laugh to others n wait till i go. Just so so so mich more.. Am i not pretty? Am i not enough? Do i disregard you? Do not give you everything? Am i..wrong? When i never hated you never screamed at you never yelled never talk to you in a command i let you do everything you want. I never called you such horrible things n command you like im your parent or my sargent or im a slave. To the point im shivering n im suppose to accept it..idk..idk..i rlly dont agh. Im jus venting at this point sorry haha..

Whoa. This is so good, you're really talented. Although, I feel I interpreted your poem a bit differently than most. But isn't that just how art works sometimes? I like that we all see different thing in this. I'm not certain how YOU originally meant it. But for me, it sounds like this isn't about two people, but one and only person, lying to themselves. It's probably just me tho. It just sounded more relatable to me this way. When there's a part of you that loves you, and another that hates you. And when you hate yourself, it's hard to listen to the part of you that doesn't. The part of you that knows there's good in you. Or, there was, once.
