This was hands down the roughest try not to cringe I've seen, ever. Cody talking between clips felt like taking a breath before diving back down into sewage.

My fav psychic story: Houdini used psychic mediums to try and talk to his mother. Houdini was pissed to realize the psychics were using similar body language / reading people techniques he used as a magician. He wanted to prove it was all BS, so Houdini told his wife one word he would say to her through a medium. For over 10 years, his wife held a seance in Vegas for psychics to travel to and contact her husband. After 10 years, no one ever got the word. Houdini’s last dying wish was for his wife to prove psychic mediums are full of crap. The word he would tell her, “Believe”

bluntly saying “she was shot” to a grieving couple coming to you on how their daughter died and then doubling down when they say nothing came up on the autopsy is insane

The CONFIDENCE of “She was shot” as if they wouldn’t have noticed a bullethole is crazyyy

My grandma Barnadia just died a few weeks back and I'm still dealing with it. She was eating lunch and was suddenly shot in the chest, then died in the hotel pool on 9-11. She was never married but it was to be expected since she didn't love herself enough. It's been really hard on the whole family, especially the relatives whose names start with "M" or "J."

the way that first lady could've saved her skin and been like, "Oh, he was a firefighter? That must be the water I'm picking up on. I"m trying to build a stronger connection to him and ask if maybe there was an accident with the hose of the truck. Maybe something was finicky or something happened while the water was running beside him." Like, dude. If you're gonna scam people at least be smart about it.

This stuff is so sad and pisses me off. People in grief are often desperate and search for closure in realms outside of what is tangible. And then someone comes along and not only exploits their hurt and desperation but ruins their trust in any sort of authentic spirituality. Low low people to make money off of blatant lies in the face of loss and hope.

The first psychic in this video told Amanda Berrys mom that she was drowned by a man and that they’d never find her. Amanda berry was found alive after being in captivity for 10 years. She also watched that psychic tell her mom that while she was in captivity. Horrible. Edit- the psychic told Amanda berry mom this in 2004, Amanda berry mom died in 2006 from heart failure and other health issues. Amanda escaped in May 2013.

Crazy how Pete Davidson’s dad passed away that day, too (9/11). Cannot believe that happened; I’m still dumbfounded. I was in grade 11 in a history class. I vividly remember my teacher rolling in the TV cart and putting it on channel 3. We watched the 2nd plane hit live - it was so intense. My math teacher (Mr Beech) his daughter was supposed to be in an interview at 10:30am in the south tower. Anyway, she got a call at 8:30am saying her interview was pushed to the afternoon. So she went to take a nap; woke up and everyone was gone. Bc she was asleep; Mr Beech couldn’t get a hold of her til she woke up around 1pm. I can’t imagine what those poor people went through; witnessing Mr Beech go through that sort of anguish was life-changing for me. Family over everything

okay but the absolute irony of the psychic being so adamant about the dude drowning in water but ended up dying to one of the worst fire explosions on US soil is not lost on me.

This kind of stuff makes me SO angry. When my dad passed, that’s the lowest I’ve ever felt. I was so desperate at times and can’t say I wouldn’t have tried quite literally almost anything to feel closure/like I had some sort of answers. It just makes me so deeply angry to know there are people out there who would prey on someone so desperate.

If that first psychic was smart, she would've been like, "oh its because they built a fountain there".

In the section where the news crew is on, the three people are part of the Chicago news, WGN(stands for Worlds Greatest News). The noises were part of the show, and the lady was Robin, while the men were Larry and Dean. They’re an incredibly hilarious news team because Larry is so cynical and the other two just go along with it. Dean does new movie reviews and they often invite people to showcase their skills or new businesses, etc. I highly recommend watching their broadcasts! They have serious news and topics but they always balance with humor with sound effects, candid conversations between them, and every halloween they dress with costumes and go to this family owned halloween store. Overall just lotta laughs from when I was younger. (The same people have been on for like 20 years)

There’s an author that paid a psychic to see what happened to my great great aunt. The psychic said she died a horrible death and she has no living family. So the author wrote an entire book series about my aunt using real names and what was written on her tombstone. Which then resulted in her tombstone being stolen multiple times (still hasn’t been found since this last time) and my entire family is beyond angry with the author that didn’t take 2 seconds to research for himself. Some of these psychics don’t realize that what they say can be hurtful and dangerous.
