✅ In today's video, we're going to make the famous 'Bistec a lo Pobre', Peruvian-style. This hearty dish contains beef tenderloin, fried eggs, plantain and rice, and is a popular dish consumed in both Peru and Chile.
Whilst there's a lot of things going on inside this dish, this Peruvian favourite is actually surprisingly easy to make and can be prepared in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
◼️ 250 gr of ribeye steak
◼️ 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
◼️ Salt and pepper to taste
For the Rice:
◼️ 1 cup of rice
◼️ 2 cups of water
◼️ 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
◼️ Salt to taste
Other Ingredients:
◼️ 1 egg
◼️ 1 ripe plantain
Garnishes:
◼️ French Fries
◼️ Salad
