I made these yesterday with Shrimp instead of Lobster. Chilled the filling overnite. Followed the rest of the recipe exactly. They were delicious. We didn't even need the dipping sauce because the flavor was fabulous.
So glad I kept scrolling and found this. Looking forward to trying these in Dallas on Sept. 21st. I’ll probably be trading with my wife for these since she’s deathly allergic to shellfish. More for me, yay. 🥘♥️

Surf and turf egg rolls? Been waiting for a recipe for this. Been watching a bunch of RU-vid videos on egg roll making and it’s time to try it. Being from Maine we have the best lobster in the world.
I need to give these steak & lobster egg rolls a try... That's a great appetizer..I may hav to leave out the spicy sauce tho...Who knws I may make 2 batches...👍
Just a suggestion on rolling the egg rolls. Use the "baseball method" by folding second base over the filling and pulling back to tighten the filling. Roll the egg roll until the roll is even with first and third base then fold first and third base over the middle. Continue rolling the egg roll toward home plate until it is fully rolled up and sealed. You'll get much better results than if you fold the sides in first like you did in the video.
This looks amazing...only question I have is about the chilli sauce. Because it's in the mixture and also drizzled on top, doesn't it cover the lobster flavour?
Well I made them, aaaannnnddd they went over the top with my kids. I let them try them FIRST 😂 cuz I don't taste my food. Then I tried them-freaking yum 😋 Fifteen egg rolls full of flavor and a cold glass of wine 🍷. THANKS 👍
