I am old now but, I still know what I am capable of doing. I am a vet and have never forgotten my training. It will be a very bad day for anyone who thinks they can come into my community and do harm to civilians. I know I will probably die but, it's worth it to me to preserve liberty at any cost. We need to stand up and band together to fight this evil. Remember your oath.
I'm 73 today. US Army 1970-76 and I haven't forgotten a thing either. As an older Vet, maybe the best thing you can do is TRY to tell your neighbors and community to get trained up not only in firearm safety and marksmanship ... but also Buddy Medicine, STOP THE BLEED, and CPR. These are skills that last a lifetime.
The thing that surprised me about the attacks in Israel was that Israeli citizens were so unarmed. Kids at a music festival is one thing but people at home within eyesight of the fence being unarmed is inexcusable. I saw video of the government unboxing crates of older tri-forend M-16’s and handing them out to civilians but the horse kinda left the barn I’d say.
I'll take being an unarmed subject over contributing to the arms industry that makes money from mass shootings. If America had a moral compass there'd be gun control since the 20's/30's when the rest of the world was introducing permits, but you had to even mess that up. God I hate this country.
I've seen people on leftist reddit argue "well now they are allowing them to have guns, and they're all military trained, so what's the problem now? Sounds like it's how it should be" I think about the mass production of millions of rifles being made in USA annually... PSA alone builds 800+ guns daily. And even with that kind of production, many Americans still aren't armed. It takes decades of gun production to even begin to arm and train a decent percentage of the population. It has to be part of the culture; you can't just flip the switch and become just like the USA. These dumb leftists would probably respond with "no, there's more guns than people in America!" Yeah, if you count every antique, every rusted out single shot 410 shotgun, then sure we could theoretically arm every American. But we DO NOT have enough combat ready rifles for every American to fight with.
The government or entity ruling over you should NEVER have a monopoly on force. Even if they 100% had your best interest in mind, they can’t physically protect everyone at the same time. Well said Rob.
Self-defense is your own responsibility first! YOU are the first line of defense for your own family. It boggles my mind that so few of our fellow Citizens can grasp this simple FACT !
Or if you have a dog, the first line of defense is a good dog. Second line of defense is you, or dog and owner together. My dog is always on the job and is easily startled by bumps in the night.
@@Hjerte_Verke dogs for defense is a myth. 99% of dogs won't bite humans (across all breeds). Unless your dog is just vicious, or specifically trained to attack intruders, you cannot rely on them to do more than bark and growl. Many run and hide when the front door is kicked in. Dogs are still a good deterrent, but violent criminals are starting to become aware of the above, and more and more are just walking right past people's dogs.
Nobody can feed, shelter, educate or protect you and you family and possessions better then yourself. The government ( or rather elements within gov.)has managed to convince people their helpless wards of the state and goverment can somehow do these things for them. (Notice I didn't say do these things BETTER). THIS is is a fundamental lie and absurdlity, and anyone foolish or naive enough to buy into it is already exstinct.

For some reason, and I'm going to be distinctive here, religious and non-religious Jews tend to lean towards marxism. Marxists tend to loath personal ownership of firearms as they believe in collectivism and the State being the ultimate power and the citizens simply part of the collective.
I don't think that is accurate and if it is, it shouldn't be. Much older documentation has shown that over the years most Israelis not only have weapons but openly carry (usually an Uzi) in public to prevent this sort of thing happening as they are in occupied territory. I've got tons of photos from 10-20 years ago showing common people, men and women and even schoolteachers armed to the teeth (with long guns not to mention handguns). They've done this in the past so I don't know if by some unfortunate happenstance they have lowered their defensive posture in recent years out of complacency or whatnot. Either way it is a wakeup call for every man woman and child that personal security depends on YOU.
Been training my son,and daughter since they were 8, & 6 yrs old. They are 21,& 18 now. People used to call me crazy for teaching them so young. It's already proven useful. When my son was 16 he and some friends were going to the lake. They stopped to pick up another kid. When they went into his house,the kid came down the hall with an AR that his mom's boyfriend had left on the bed. My son quickly took the AR , made sure it was on safe, pointed it in a safe direction, removed the magazine, and charged it. Sure enough there was a round in the chamber. My wife finally understood, and was happy I had introduced them to firearms at a young age. My wife still doesn't like that I've collected so many, but she's happy knowing there's not one firearm that I have that my kids don't know how to use, and use properly. When the shtf I'll have backup that I know for a fact have my back . I pray that nothing happens here, but if it does I hope all my fellow Americans stand firm, and we let whoever tries us regret they even thought about it.
That’s a good thing he knew gun safety. There was a pair of brothers in my town who were playing around with their dad’s shotgun (they had taken it from the mounting on the wall) they didn’t know what they were doing, and unfortunately the younger brother ended up killing his older brother on accident. It tore the family apart, aside from the child losing his life. Gun safety is important, ignorance is dangerous.
My first shots where when I was so small I couldn't hold dad's shotgun. He held it and shouldered it and I slipped in between his arms to aim and pull the trigger. Probably my warmest memory of my father, and my introduction to firearms too. I was probably 4 or 5.

Power comes from chaos, that's why they want it so badly. They did a trial run in 2020 with the lockdowns, so now they know which states will comply and which ones won't. That's exactly why they must ban the sale and distribution of rifles.

As most pro-2A advocates are aware, the phrase "well-regulated" meant "competent, trained, capable" in the 1700s, NOT "having many rules/regulations", which is what uneducated gun grabbers claim that phrase to mean.

Texan here ✋. I also believe that we should be ready to hand our neighbors a rifle if they don't have one. My dad asked me why I keep buying rifles, magazines and ammo, then I keep my magazines loaded. I told him that my neighbor is a good guy but he doesn't have a rifle yet, so if something pops off I want him to be able to help me amd help his own family.
They even try to ban body armour. I can pretend I have 3 brain cells and _understand_ an argument against weapons, but even 2 brain cells should be able to figure out that a politician (surrounded by armed and armoured men) who wants to ban body armor clearly doesnt care about you.
I have come to the realization that our federal government hates us and our way of life. Sure, they love the cattle minded because they're easily controlled, but they cannot stand those of us that refuse to walk through the gate.
I agree 100% - although I'm not American and my country which I proudly serve for 27 years prohibits owning assault type rifles (except for the national guardsmen) - I can see that times have change (and not for the best) . I'm afraid our lives will become infinitely more complicated in terms of security and day to day risk in the near future ....
Where there's a will there's a way. Knife, sword, club, stave, bow, crossbow, airguns many possibilities. Remember this/these battles have been going on/fought for millennia. Prep any way you can. Good luck. And network with others (if their trustworthy).

You have to make yourself hard to kill. I am out of shape, 46 years old and have high blood pressure. I am getting in shape, I have purchased a few rifles and lots of magazines and ammo. The time for complacency is over. Our government hates us and until people wake up to that fact then they're just setting ducks. Even if it's just an old bolt action 30-06 or a lever action 30-30, those are better than a pistol for any range. I also have pistols but those are for concealed carry to get me to my rifle. Be a good man but also be a dangerous man.

Your are exactly right I am a security contractor for several pastors, and ministers, my wife being one they all wanted to go to Israel I called and ask how would I be able to bring weapons to protect these people they said no one can have a weapon except police and military then they said our security is excellent you’ll have no problem. I told my wife your not going I advised the others that if they chose to go your on your own. Everyone was upset with me but look now I think I made the right decision. I will not go anywhere that I can’t protect myself or love ones like the Bahamas ridiculous.
Rob Ski is correct. Nobody is better off when they are helpless. You can't depend on someone else to save you, unless you are a helpless child. It's up to you, and just ownership is not enough. You have to train. And watching videos like this is a good way to get some knowledge.
Worse yet the helpless are a burden and hindrance on others. It's one thing to be a child, elderly, disabled but to be a healthy, grown adult who can't be responsible of or take care of themselves. Come on man! Should have ran for president!

Spot on as always Rob. Great insight here. Personal safety is PERSONAL, it's up to you to protect yourself. You can't rely on anyone else including police and military. Those who were shot or kidnapped definitely called "911" for assistance but how can the police respond somewhere instantly? You are 100% correct ! Wise words we should all listen to. A handgun is not enough when things get real so, make sure you have a reliable rifle, ammo close at hand. I live in Canada where the gun laws are ridiculous but, that does not deter me from having access to the tools I might need for defending my property and loved ones.

The Left would have you believe that all the guns are only being bought by 20% of the people, and they already own guns, but that's not really the case. They base that off self-reporting phone surveys of gun ownership ... and if you own guns, how likely are you to be honest with some stranger that calls you up at random asking questions about your gun ownership?

Brother, I agree with you 100%. I'm changing around my EDC routine to add a long gun, such as an AR/AK or other... There are sales going on now and I really want a LAW or Sylvan Folder, but I can get by for now and family, and some friends, come to me, though I try to tell them to buy their own... Remember: you use your pistol to get to your rifle, now keep it closer. Good video!
