Welcome to Tommy Johansson rabbit hole, there is so much to discover. Besides being a guitarist for Sabaton (they are all from Sweden), Tommy is also a singer and songwriter in his own band Majestica, which he started when he was 15 under the name ReinXeed. You asked why is he not a singer for Sabaton and the answer is simple. If we put aside the fact that Joakim's voice is much more suitable for military theme they got, thing is that Tommy was the last to join Sabaton,in 2016, when Joakim was already a lead singer for 17 years. Tommy does everything in his covers, instruments, back vocals, mixing, mastering, editing... The drums are digital, but only because he can't fit them in his apartment now, he was actually a drummer in a band for a while. Hope you will check more of Tommy's covers, I suggest She's Gone by Steelheart and definitely check out Majestica, their song Above The Sky is simply brilliant. So sorry to hear about your daughter, hope things get better eventually. So sad to hear it happen to a child and it really makes me mad that people that should be helping are actually making it worse

Tommy can play drums, he has actually been a drummer for bands in his youth. In these covers he does use plug-in drums though. He plays bass too. In the teaser for todays Midsummer release we see him with more swedish traditional instrument like accordion, flute and acoustic guitar.

Tommy would be very flattered by you thinking he sounds like Skid Row! In an interview, he mentioned how happy he was, that Sebastian Bach looked straight into his camera at a festival! Last year he made the cover '18 And Life,' feel free to check it out!
