Puppet characters are no joke in this game, and I got the front row experience to its combo trials. We're trying to beat Chaos' Under Night In Birth combos today and seeing if we can earn these tough to execute combos when we got this lizard making things even harder

All you gotta focus on is the circle under your bar: Green=lizard ready to use and has no hurtbox Red= lizard is active, specials that hit can be cancelled into other specials, lizard can be hit Black= lizard was hit and is locked out for a few seconds Hold any button to make lizard move forward Vorpal trait (blue aura)= lizard specials are cancellable at all times, hit or miss. Once you figure out how to monitor when to use Ahzi and how to position setups, chaos becomes way more fun to play. His only major flaw is no overhead techniques.

For those wandering Chaos has a lizard cause his powers allow him to bring to life anything "sealed" inside inanimate objects mainly books, and the Chaos Code (the book he has) contained Azhi Dahaka (the lizard).

According to the story, he uses Ahzi as a way to nerf his own powers and discipline himself. Gordeau all aways alludes that in the past chaos was a violent psychopath, hence his name. I always wanted an alternate version of this character, "True" Chaos or something

I'll be completely honest... This game looks like it's terrifying. People are going to be pulling these combos in matches, and I'm just not mentally prepared for that.

Most people will learn one or two combos and stick with them online (and not just with this game). Granted when I played there were some genuine killers out there, but you can find people who are beginner-to-intermediate level to fight pretty easily. Always, always, ALWAYS treat trials as introductions to the ebb and flow of a character's playstyle and combo rhythm. Learn one or two you can land on confirm, and further your progression on the side at your own pace. It's much more fun that way

stranger part is when you've been on a trial for a while and reset because you thought it was the demo but it was you all along because you've just done the first part so many times its second nature.

I keep going back to this video because I'm just outright stunned that a human can physically make sense of what these characters are doing. Like, WTF is going on!? Look at it and tell me there's a God! I have a hard enough time keeping up with GG:Xrd even in the trials and UNI is that on super-coke. Part of me feels like I need to buy it just to make an absolute fool of myself.
