Funny about JuJu. My mom did the same thing at a Utah reservoir, Steinaker Lake. Dad would set a pole up, Mom would fish while Dad set up another. Just as he'd get the 2nd one done, she'd catch a good size 12-14 inch rainbow and as Dad got the fish off and put on the chain, she fish with the 2nd pole. Dad starts setting up her pole again and just as he gets done, boom- another fish. This went on till Dad would say- "you bait your own hook honey, I wanna fish too!!" And she'd still catch twice as many, haha. She said it was all how you held your mouth. 😏 Sure do miss those days fishing with my Mom N Dad. Bet they're catching all the trophy fish in heaven. Thanks for another great vid that brought me good memories of my own fishing days.

My grandsons caught a 32 pound catfish in Nebraska. It was almost a long as he was tall. He was only 8 yrs old.

Good video of a good fishing trip. Those flathead are great eating, especially the 10 pounders. The bigger they get, the fattier the meat gets. Speaking of eating, those huge red ear and long ear bluegills you are catching make a fine meal on their own. Best eating freshwater fish in my opinion.

Hey, get the young man a saltwater spinning reel rig if he does not like baitcasters. I never could get the knack for them well enough to have confidence in them. I don't like them. My catfishing rods are surf rods, same for reels. That is all I use, from pan fish to catfish, as well as redfish at the Gulf coast. Also, those slab-sided sunfish are worthy of a fish fry. I think sunfish are some of the best tasting fish on the planet. Happy to see boys with their Dad just getting along, having outdoor fun. Good stuff guys. I am 65. My Dad taught me to fish, how to prepare fish, and cook them. Dad is gone now, but he lives in my memory and my heart. Cherish the moments.

What a epic couple of evenings of catfishing im from Illinois and grew up fishing, born in California but did most of my fishing in Illinois for years, my biggest catch was a 38# blue cat out of a river in ILLINOIS it was put in my buddies pond over 12 years ago and he still has it in there feeding them goldfish and dogfood its living the hi life, by the way im adopting jujus realing 🎣 technique from now on! Lol 😂 but for real great video guys! 📹 keep em comin n happy fishing 🎣 😌
