The previous generation were made of sterner stuff & deserve more.
Stalin visit some of these women in their makeshift homes made of crates & trash.
Thanks to Bui Hau ($194.50 aud). More to come.

I was never a big donor for Troy, but I will say that every time I made a donation, it DID eventually get given out.

Thanks to the donors for helping the elderly. Yes, this is very sad. This could actually be some of ours mothers 😍 thanks Troy for sharing

Yes!!! Elders are often kicked to the curb and left to fend for themselves. We could learn so much from them if we only gave them our “ precious “ time. Thanks Troy🩵

The elders are seen as not important anymore. This is so wrong because there’s so much knowledge in the persons mind.

Truthfully, this bought tears to my eyes, the most important thing here is that these ladies may not be top of the tree but Stalin 'presented' the money to them in the respectful way that it is in Vietnam. Here in Europe no one gives a fuck about respect, it was lost some years ago and it has nothing to do with covid or anything else, it is pure 'respect'.

I think you do an excellent job and there’s no need for any apologies on your part. As far as the religious part I’m Christian some of my family are catholic and a couple are even Muslim I think it’s up to you you as an individual what ever makes you feel the most comfortable. The only two women I didn’t like how they acted but I have changed how I think about them is the grandmother that takes care of her granddaughter they were homeless you have help them a lot and one lady I think in Cambodia when you would take food to all the kids and sometimes the elderly you got the same young girl to help this one lady would get mad if she thought she didn’t get enough or as much or more than the kids. But this is what iv learned in my own life In family iv had a major stroke but I try to help my family as much as I can and we lost my father in law last week after fighting his disease for a few years this last year was the worst we found out how quick people are to judge when someone don’t like your tone of voice or they might think your ungrateful for something when in reality that’s far from the truth especially the last two weeks of my father-in-law’s life and we took turns around the clock setting with him taking care of him on his death bed not sleeping or eating and people calling you rude when you do. You will never here or see me questioning anyone’s attitude or behavior again. So thank you Troy for everything you do to help people.

I enjoyed when Troy spoke with street vendors and when he would buy them a bowl of soup and talk with them. It’s one of my favourite parts of the videos when conversation takes place over a meal a drink or a simple bowl of rice. So much knowledge can be gathered in these situations.

A vendor doesn't know anything outside their little sphere of influence. They basically stand in one spot all day and do the same routine. Their interactions with customers are brief and transactional too. You would be better off speaking to a taxi driver or tuk tuk driver.
@chox2001
@chox2001 9 месяцев назад
@@troycambo no the vendors will have plenty to say and will suprise you . If you think a person has limited knowledge by what they do then you need to speak to more no interest people.

Your talk about young people not knowing their history reminded me of videos I have seen of interviews of U.S. college students. They cannot answer the most simple questions about history or geography or math or politics. I don't know what is being taught in schools but it sure seems like the information is lacking substance.

“Puy Yang”? Sorry I could not correctly get the name from your video. I tried to make a spreadsheet to keep track of everyone’s name for a while, but I gave up due to the complexity. I remember “Ly” from the kidney village of course, but not sure about Puy (was she the young heavy set lady?)… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ud-3KeHKNN4.html It would be nice to see a photo of her. I also remember the sweet older quiet lady who took charge some times, but I doubt anyone would call her a goblin. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nZkK9yOxbOk.html ???

Hey James how are you? Co Nhan was the frail looking woman in this video's thumbnail: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k7CIF0WkpHw.html. She knew Chi Hop & was the one who recommended Ly at first because Ly wanted an air conditioner. She passed her story onto Chi Hop who told me about her & we made a few videos with her. Complications emerged after Ly then received about 100 mil vnd in donations & the other villagers didn't get anything.
