Church that's a tough one, I've been degraded for hugging people also it's hard because one of my five children is autistic and doesn't do well at church he gets up walks back and forth covers his ears you get the picture. I rather go door-to-door seeing who needs prayer. Or work at a soup kitchen

My grandfather said that Sunday lasts all week. I have the gift of kindness, mercy, and compassion. I have went out of my way many times to show Jesus's love to others. I agree that the church members need to learn to get closer with one another and lift each other up. In the book of Proverbs, it says that iron sharpens iron. I love my church but I haven't seen enough of it and what about people with mental illnesses? We need more programs including one for that.

I've been going to the same church for 18 months. I tried to quit going and they pestered and pushed till I came back. But I'm a loner. I dont fit with just anyone. I've only a couple close friends that I made decades ago. I get along with people, but my personality.. I can socialize well and easily, but people are wary of me. I've been called "intense". I can go to a church function early and sit by myself and that's usually how it stays. Conversely, when I join a group I get the feeling I'm intruding. I'm an empath and am sensitive to others feelings. I really just get along better with my dogs, alone on my farm, and being around people is hard. It drains me. I've been writing apologetics booklets and am considering putting them online. I hope loners go to heaven.

My faith sometimes gets messy with doubt and anger, but unconditional love and the yearning to connect closer to our fellows and God makes our messes necessary to become closer with them. I always see people say that you should just blindly believe what you believe God says, without telling God your worries, or essentially being honest with God instead of pushing it down and becoming a victim of an emotional bluntness... So is it truly ok to fight God with faith that he has his best intentions for you and everyone else? I believe so! Also I just wanna say that I love you, and any fire you are going through, you can do this! Remember that God listens even when he isn't at home!

The church I go to is not perfect, but I love it. God does listens. He gave me a community that loves me. Thank you Sanctuary International for being the church to me. :)

A true church is a bond with the other churchgoers. I have 2 church families. I have 2 churches I go to. A Catholic church, and a Lutheran church. I have strong bonds with people at both churches. I feel at home at both churches, and I like the strict service, and the respect we give to the holy trinity. I also do alot of volunteering at the churches. I am very blessed to have both churches to attend with loving friends, and love to God.

Speaking the truth as always. Where did you get the replica of the church we grew up in? I would like to get one.

Not if the church your going to turns their back on you because your going through hard times. Or if your not in their financial bracket they don't associate with you, and they talk down to you because of it. The pastor taking the old people's pain pills. and a whole other laundry list of other issues. This is my experience with organized religion and since a child I've seen allot of divisions between the people in the church. Not once have I seen true unity of any kind among them. Sure they look good on the surface. It seems like they care at first. However when it comes down to it, all but maybe a few were genuine. Sooner or latter the leadership would fail and the congregations would crumble. I've spent a considerable amount of time in four different churches in my 51 years on this earth. I believe that if we listen to man or rely on man for our salvation we will be lost. The Holy Ghost is there to Lead and guide us into all truth. It is up to us to seek out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Build that relationship with Jesus on your own by yourself. When we do this, and I mean really and honestly do it. We can become who he wants us to be, he will lead you to where you need to be and where you should go. Because all things are done through him, not anyone else.
