Hey guys! In this video, I go into some of the potential reasons why you are still a shorty! Nothing to worry about, being late bloomers, you guys have all the potential in the world to grow! In this video I suggested some tips and tricks to hopefully help you guys max out this growth spurt, but still, I would recommend checking out some of my other videos to help you further. Growth spurt is bundle that contains multiple mini spurts ,these spurts followed by slow growth or plateaus entirely.this pattern continue for weeks or months until overall growth spurt reach its end point.

fasting doesn't help growth, it increases hgh but decreases igf-1 which is way more important for skeletal growth. drink whole milk (not lowfat or skim because they contain less igf-1), increase protein intake by at least 30g above the normal 50g recommendation, exercise daily (rest on weekends, no rest = no time to grow) sleep 8-12 hrs a night and eat healthy (calcium, magnesium, vitamin d, b vitamin, vitamin a, zinc, iron and iodine rich foods for hormonal balances and growth regulation)

I stand at 5’6 right now and i’m 16 in 3 months. My mom is like 5’4.5 and my dad is 5’7. Growth spurts on my mom’s side of the family tend to happen later at around 18 or so as seen with my uncle who was 5’3 until he was 18 and grew to 5’10. I also have a cousin on my mom’s side who unexpectedly grew to 6’4 while most of the adult men in my mom’s family are 6’1. My goal is to be 6 foot but can I at least make it to 5’10 with the given information?

Hey Mao, really thankful about the video I have a suggestion for a video I saw a video earlier talking about a dot method which leads pituitary gland to secrete Growth hormone and in comment section a lot of people said it was really working so and so. I was 168 cm 🎉Tall ( ca. 5.6 Feet )on my 14. Birthday . Now I am only 175 cm tall ( ca. 5.8 ) at 17 years . But I had an eating disorder when I was 14 years old and in extremly underweight for over a half year . Of course this had an impact on my growths spurt and without this eating disorder , today I would be like 185 cm - 190 cm tall . Proofs that I would be tall are for example that I have big feet ( shoe size 46 - 47) and wingspan ( 187 cm ). I am Boy and hoping to a growth spurt . Did anyone of you boys also had an eating disorder ? When yes , then how much did you grown ?

I had the same experience, I had to follow a diet due to the mononucleosis and even I got infected very often and had week imunity. When I was 10, I was 145cm tall, which is a pretty normal height for a boy of that age (my parents are both over 170cm). Then, at 15, I was measured 159cm and 63kg, although I ate normally and did regular exercise just like the others. I started to feel really awkward as all of my classmates and even my younger sister (then 12) started to outgrow me, but the doctor told me that I shouldn't be worried and continue my normal life. But when measured again at 19, I was still only 162cm and 76kg and she suddenly changed and told me my growth was finished and I should take some diet to lose weight, meanwhile I had also a baby face and my classmates were calling me names and showing me their girlfriends etc... Now, I'm 24 and still 162cm, I managed to lose weight back to 70-72kg, but I have still got baby face, badly shaped body and of course no girlfriend so far. Meanwhile my sister, currently 21, made it to 172cm and is also quite thin, which I can't understand how is it possible but okay. I am sometimes jealous of her, and also my wingspan is 178cm btw.

i have a question. im 5'8.25", which is 173.5cm, and 175 pounds. Im quite a big kid being 13 and a half years old. (Born in july 2010) and i started puberty on the earlier side, around 12ish. (Or maybe average, not sure) However, the 1.5 years i have been in puberty, i have never experienced accelerated growth beyond what i normally get. Always grew 2-2.5 inches every year. Never declined, never went above 2.5. So my question is, can ur growth spurt itself still be on the later side, even if puberty started earlier or more average timing? Cause thats kinda how i feel, i am growing mustache hair a bit, and a lot of body hair in general, my shins are noticeably longer proportionally, but overall i have not gotten my spurt yet. is it maybe still too early in my puberty for me to have even gotten it yet?

@@Iam62-dc4wf you entered kind of early, I’d be curious to know what your other relatives like grandparents and uncles heights are but its looking kind of bad however literally just do all the stuff mao mao says eat clean, train hard, sleep well, take supplements make sure you are actually absorbing the nutrients all the stuff for boosting height is just normal stuff you should do for good health and a strong attractive body so just keep at it, you may or may not grow but doing these habits will still help you out, you might grow a few more inches though, you should check your growth plates with a doctor

I am 5’9 and turned 16 last month. My dad is 6’2 and my mum is 5’5. I had an early growth spurt and have signs of being larger such as size 11 feet. I am active and have always eaten healthy but I believe I lacked sleep during lockdown when I was around 12 to 13. I now sleep over 8hours 30 every day and take magnesium before bed. I have had osgood schlatters for a significant while in both knees. I haven’t really grown too much for the past couple years apart from a couple cm now and then. Can I and what can I do to grow to over 6’ ?

Im constantly growing like there has been no massive growth spurt I have grown 20cm in the last 3 years (166-186cm) i mostly grew during 2021-22 from 166-176 and have been stable ever since But the will to keep growing is still in me, if i ignored my height i might have been stuck on 180cm

Hey MaoMao, I’m M17.1 at 175.5 cm 65kg and tanner 4.4. At 151 cm in 2019 , 169 cm in 2022 , 173 in 2023 growth spurt probably from 2021-2022. my mom’s height is 168 cm and dad’s height 174 cm. On mom’s side grandpa 171cm grandma 164cm , on dad’s side grandpa 169 cm grandma NA. Cousins are around 183cm. I have moderate activity levels 1-2 days basketball, running a week. Consume 3000-4000 calories a day, still have shin pain and knee pain from sitting for 5 hrs a day studying or Osgood-Schlatter, mild scoliosis. Around 7-9 hrs sleep. Is there a chance I could be 185 cm

No don’t think so. Im also 17 around same tanner scale. Look if you havent grown in a year most likely you wont grow anymore. After about 2 years of no growth you are probably going to be the same height. 175 is good anyways no need to stress bro

I will be 12 in may i'm 4'10 no growth spurt Dad is 5'10 and Mom 5'7. My dads dad is 5'11 and my mom's dad is 6ft. Also i have 3 great uncles on my moms side who are over 6ft and my great grandfathers were both over 6'2. Literally voiced dropped at 15.5, I grew to 5,7 or something during when I was 16 then I grew to 5,10 at 17 now I’m abit taller at 19 but not as much as I would like will update in a year

but you can have a late growth spurt even when hitting puberty at an average age for example 13. growth can be delayed

Am 15.7 and am 177cm/5'9.5 with a 6'3/191cm wingspan i play basketball, track and i stretch and my goal is 6'1 or more i feel like i havent grown in like a year my mom is 5'3 and idk my dad height ive never met him. But i play basketball 4-5 times a week for 1hour+ and work out 5 times a week and my diet its alr i am always hungry and i just eat what my mom makes like chicken with rice or fish with rice. I usually get 8-9 hours of sleep everyday i go too sleep at around 8.30 and wake up at 5 in the morning
