I thought so… I don’t know why I know that, but I vaguely remembered it was a felony. In any case, I was kind of surprised that it wasn’t mentioned at all, but they were trying to de-escalate and avoid, so I do get it. Hope it wasn’t a nuisance for the pilots of the choppers:
The officers can’t see it. It’s a laser pointer that uses the same tech as the military ones but not as powerful. The laser is picked up by the camera but you can’t see it with your eyes. Still dangerous to the eyes but not nearly as bad as normal laser pointers. Not sure why the helicopter wasn’t calling it in. However it could be in one of the other cases. Fingers crossed ig 🤷♀️

I worked at a pharmacy when I was a teen. Photocopies were 10 cents plus tax. Coming to a whopping 11 cents. The lady, now to be known as a Karen, fought with me about it, and eventually I offered to call the manager. She even said "can't you just pay it??" I mean... I could have, but I wont bc of your attitude 😂 My boss came, and told her that it was in FACT 11 cents, and there was a sign ON the copy machine saying that. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure Freedom of Speech doesn't cover threats of violence. Which violence, I believe, is counted as threats of emotional/financial/physical damage. So telling someone that you "could" assault and batter them is dancing a very fine line of constitutionally protected speech
The Freedom of Speech is amazing! But yes, it does not protect you if you make threats. It actually doesn't protect you from saying whatever, whenever. Freedom of Speech is actually Freedom of Speech against the government. Meaning you are allowed to speak out against the government and you are protected. These people forget the second part.
This is an old comment but I still wanna say that it differs from country to country. Where I live this dude would have been arrested like 2 minutes in cause everything he says is considered threatening.
That's not wven a quarter of the worst shit he's said. He was hounded off Tik Tok for his racist remarks that included telling a well-known Black activist that he should get on his knees before him (Chille). I've also heard a recording of a phone call in which Chille told a Black man that he (the guy) has no idea what it's like to be Black in America. And there's even worse than that...

One of the few times I’ve felt bad for a cop. The totally unwarranted harassment, the blatant racism and misogyny, the weird gay undertones??? Their patience is unreal.
Eh. Even though hes annoying af, saying that he _"could"_ bop her would have a hard time amounting to fighting words. If he said he was _going_ to bop (lmao) them then maybe theyd have a case. Fighting words is hard to prosecute, but disturbing the peace and interfering with law enforcement duties is much easier to land.

Ruining way more than his own life, or his behavior would be funnier.
Imagine how many of poor citizens got arrested, jail time, legal bills or fined because of chili telling them to shout random court cases at cops when they got stopped. He's pretty much telling them to harass cops and that's a potentially dangerous thing to do. But on the other hand. Just by looking at his videos. Yeah these officers were behaving perfectly. There are plenty of terrible police out there, and you can find many other videos where police act utterly horribly, but this guy legitimately found two police acting completely professionally, harassed them, and then uploaded the video of him harassing them as if he was the one in the right. If he had done this to a random person on the street there would be good odds said person would have punched him in the face. Words are powerful, and if you sit there berating a random stranger when they have no opportunity to leave the situation, they may break. He just *so* badly wants to be a hero that he is trying to bait out bad cops, but he is doing it in the worst possible way. It is not wrong to record interactions with the police, it is not wrong to firmly assert and exercise your rights, but it is wrong to harass and threaten anyone. He was hoping they would attack him and give him good "content" or the means for a lawsuit.
He wants to be in lead and be idolized, but he doesn’t want to work to become a real leader. The fact he’s not powerful and important is, in his mind, both unjust and unfair.
Seriously the look on the officers face at the 15 min mark roughly the look of “this ungrateful tw## that I risked my skin for while serving in the military ”…. 😂 I once thought humanity had a chance but to be honest I really have my doubts at times . As Forest Gump would say “stupid is as stupid does”.🤦🏻♀️😫
Remember folks, this guy has been disowned by much of his family, he lives in a van cause he has abused everyone he has lived with. Has stolen money from victims and ran off with it. Assaulted a women in front of police and then turns to ask them can he punch her for self defense….after he ran into her on purpose. Has challenged multiple people to charity boxing and then backs out when people accept. Yeah…we realllllly need a guy like him defending our rights
Probably worth adding he was instantly disowned by half of the cop auditing channels as soon as he started and is now disowned by almost all of them. He's so egregiously bad at it, dishonest and arrogantly antagonistic that many think he must have been paid to discredit auditing by the DoJ. Half of the people he served lawsuits on were other auditors.

The lore/rabbit hole with this guy is insane. I've been following his antics for a while now and this is the culmination of so much insanity. There is some inside scoop from a guy who used to do the editing of Chille's videos and boy is it juicy! His multiple (failed) Law(LOL)suits, warrants in three states, and the lifetime restraining orders are entertaining to say the least. Chille basically went into this hearing thinking he was going to win and decided not to meet with his attorney before hand to go over the case so the guy was ill prepared (as you can see from his stammering). In his preliminary hearing, Chille threatened to sue everyone involved with the court case and would keep his lawyer as "standby council". Chille is basically homeless and was recently found squatting at a closed smoke shop in a strip mall in Las Vegas and gets money by grifting and trying to sell his "indestructible" tri-folds and 5A "credit cards." For anyone willing to venture in the the bag of douche that is Jose "Chille" Maria De Castro, take heed; it's wild, hilarious at times, infuriating to be sure, and yes, drugs are definitely involved. That is how he makes his money. He's repeatedly threatened to fight people he knows can't for professional reasons but ran the minute someone took him up on it. 2) Pass the LSAT. I will pay for him to take and pass the LSAT.
He would be the first one to call the police if he felt "threatened" by someone he was harassing. How is this not obstructing justice? They are actively in the middle of a situation with a potentially armed criminal. He has been distracting them for minutes just for content. He is literally threatening to hit them. What a pos.
Eh, they're clearly just blocking off an area.. they're not the ones doing the searching. I have no problem with him distracting them, tbh. I mean heck, part of the job of the cops in that specific role (blocking traffic into/out of the area and whatnot) is to explain the people what's going on and why they can't walk their dog this way right now. That said.. he's not just distracting them, he's being a huge nuisance. And unfortunately, he's really particular about his language; that's why he said "I *_COULD_* take your gun", not "I'm going to/I will take your gun", because that _would_ be a threat. They're actually handling this perfectly... he _wants_ a reaction, and they gave him literally nada. That's the right call.To be clear, Chili is a major asshole and he shouldn't antagonize people. I'm just saying that those were not threats in the legal sense, they're just reaaallly close to being threats. That's by design... he's hoping that they arrest him for a not-technically-a-threat because that means he can sue the police department. Also, no, it's nonsense to pretend that he is somehow endangering them, as if an armed criminal is going to somehow come out of nowhere to attack a cop. Remember that the criminal stole a car.. that means they're running *AWAY* from the police.. not towards them lol. These cops are doing a routine and relatively safe job.. probably why they look so damn bored!
He's so pathetic. He has a problem with police for the same reason a random middle schooler does. He thinks it makes him cool or something. I always cringe whenever an adult still calls cops "pigs". Like you're not a teenager anymore, it's not a good look. Even criminals are respectful to cops if they're smart, they def don't go out of their way to interact w them just to basically say "fck you guys!"

His comments on your original video were simultaneously some of the most hilarious and also enrangeley stupid/unhinged comments I have ever seen. This is genuinely awesome news.
He's been doing phone calls three or four times a week to a friend who livestreams it. In the first of two phone calls made two weeks ago, he threatened the judge in his case. I and others reported it to the judge and he received a visit from the anti-terrorist unit. Then he made another call in which he continued to threaten the judge in huge and major ways. That was reported to the judge, too, and, oops - phone privileges revoked for ten days. He finally came back over the weekend - I think they've now limited his time and he has to be VERY careful of what he says and you can tell that that's killing him. He'll be serving his full sentence and I wouldn't be surprised if some new charges came his way. And then there are several other pending cases where he'll hopefully be found guilty and sentenced. His threats of a lawsuit to you were hilarity itself. I do hope you reported his channel.

In the incident shown - the one that landed him in jail - he was just going to get a citation for not obeying the officer's orders to back up further. He escalated it by swatting the cop's arm away when he tried to guide him to the police car because Chille wouldn't comply. He wasn't even charged with assaulting an officer because the cop felt he wasn't intentionally trying to hurt him. Chille turned a simple citation into an arrest the same way he turned a $500 ticket into 6 months jail time. It's a talent he has. Probably the only thing he's actually good at.
I have some insight on the Power Rangers thing. He couldn't act and do martial arts. The main reason he got fired was he was harrassing the female cast and crew members, stole a phone to make it look like it was somebody else and then tried to be the white knight savior. The bailiff had already had to admonish chille for his behavior before his case even started. So Chille Dekaren was "triggered" from before because he was being told what to do. (He had his feet on a bench) That's why he called the bailiff a pig. Because his feelings were hurt from being told to get his feet off the bench.
As someone who did law classes and police work. I have no idea why these cops didn’t do anything. They could’ve given him a lawful order to walk away and step away because he was clearly threatening the girl. And if he didn’t comply, they should’ve just handcuffed him, and if he resisted, then they charge him with resisting arrest. There were so many things that they could have done. I have no idea how they stay calm. I’m a woman who is short and color and I can guarantee I could take this guy down. She clearly hast to go through training and knows how to de-escalate a threat. Na, cop was smart. This is what these auditors do. They antagonize the cops into arresting them then file lawsuits against the department and city for 1st amendment violations and usually get paid a settlement because it's cheaper for the city than going to court even if the city would win.
So several pre-cursor things to know that happened before this trial with the 6mo sentence. Before the trial even started, Chille was supposed to meet with his lawyer, at his lawyer's office, to go over the trial, details of questioning, etc, however Chille was waiting in the court room for his case to be called. So when his lawyer seems inept, he really had no clue as to how to proceed because his client didn't show up. Also, while Chille was waiting for his case to be called, he was leaning back in a chair with his feet up on the railing. The bailiff naturally came up and asked/told Chille to sit normally in a court room (because who in their right mind is going to go into a court room and act like they own the place and make themselves at home?!?), which is what started the whole animosity between Chille and the bailiff. A little bit of fuel to the whole "That guy is a pig" comment, right off the cuff when the filming was going on. The guy is certifiable, he deserves a lot more jail time than what he got. The appeal bond trial was hilarious too. Chille's been in jail for one week, comes into court in the blue Clark County inmate jumper, fake crying for max sympathy points, and again Chille's lawyer wasn't briefed properly. Another giggle factor from Our Nevada Judges, if you're interested.
