Great review OG, been waiting on your take of this scent lol. I keep this is my regimen and definitely get the compliments like you mentioned from the ladies. Great scent for virtually any occasion because of low projection (i don’t want everyone to smell me before i get there, just those allowed in the personal space)

Thanks for the review, Jeff. In the winter, I like Acqua Di Gio Profumo. It is an old bu near perfect Eau De Parfum (strong). In the spring, summer, and fall I like YSL Y. This is a new scent that I get a lot of compliments on. I stick to these two signature scents. Each is about $125 at Macy's for four ounces. I don't recommend buying via Amazon or any mail order since there are a lot of counterfeits out there. He's a trick. If you want your scent to last longer, spray your clothes, such as a dark vest or blazer shoulder. Great content, as always.

@@jarvisaddison8560 They look identical to the real thing and the scent is similar. However, it is not the same and will not last. You need to be an expert to tell them apart. I'm not, so I only buy from an authorized dealer, not Amazon.

For nighttime use, La Nuit is outstanding. Like the original, I've been complimented on this after thinking it had worn off. So, I think 4-6 hours are plenty. But for better performance, I would suggest wearing this with the aftershave balm/lotion. That gives it a little boost. Thanks for the video.

Sup Jeff!! I have the 2nd formulation of it from early 2012, so it performs a lot better than what’s out now. But I started wearing it in 2013 working the night shift at the hospital. I got compliments from nurses and patients. I was listening to one patients chest and she said “Damn you smell good!” I even had patients to flirt. A couple of nurses wanted to hug me every night knowing that I’m married, til the point where I had to change fragrances. La Nuit is in my top 10 for life.

Good fragrance but I don’t wear it often. Lean toward YSL L’Homme between the two. However, my all time favorite is Givenchy Play Intense! Compliments all day! Give it a try if you haven’t... you will NOT regret it.

If you like YSL try their new Y EDP version. It is powerful and lasts all day long, so you don't have to reapply. I'd say it's also even more appealing to women then La Nuit.

ahhhhhh my favorite designer fragrance of all time! my older formulation bottles last 10+ hrs on my skin but the new one only 6 hrs :( its sooo sad they reformulated one of the greatest fragrances of all time

Shame they reformulated it, my vintage bottle gets about 4 hours of strong performance, followed by about 12+ hours of decent skin scent. With the newer bottles it's completely gone after 4 hours.

Again, good review. I think s lot of guy's are forgetting that their skin is the biggest factor to longevity etc. Like you [and prob Kevin Samuels] i get about 6-7 hrs out of one good spray. I find the warmer my skin is, the longer the reach, and the longer endurance. I'm going to take a shot here and say that almost all of the guy's complaining about duration/ reach are under 25 or 35, and are looking or expecting EDT or and EDP to get the attention [it's ALL about the attention right] of the girl at the VERY BACK of the club... You know, they want the "Wall crusher" effect [ Like Axe body spray] of permeating 60 Sq ft of space for 10 hours...... It's NOT going to happen with a polished House like YSL, Dior, Armani etc.They should be doing their homework/ research before buying anything. For christ sakes, try it before ya whine about it. Or........ Go spend some serious money and get Tom Ford etc.........

Bad performance means no deal. This and CH Men Prive are 2 that I love but it's performance is so bad... Better save for something else. Also, I don't recommend a atomizer. I have tried that in order to get a nice performance for my CH Men Prive. In the end you will get an overload of base notes and it becomes annoying. Thanks for the review. Keep it up!

The original L'Homme is one of my all time favorites. Didn't care for LNDL. I'll have to revisit it, give a thorough wearing (like 2 or 3 days, not just a spray on my hand) to see if it really isn't for me.

Sorry, you must check fragrance channels like robes08. Designer fragrances like YSL are the cheapest garbage imaginable, worth of the juice is less than $1. iMost complimented by women are Frederic Malle - Musk ravageur and Nasomato - Duro. Also Aoud 1 by Brücket which is only sold at one shop in the world.

La nuit de l' homme is excellent but the longevity has always been problematic. I bought the parfum and the longevity is waaay better. Cant go wrong with this and It smells amazing.

Le Parfum is much more versatile too! The scent is a bit different so I have both. Parfum for any situation the original la nuit for nights.

I wish I could smell what other people smell. I had this fragrance for over a week. I gave it away .I just couldn't smell anything, I wasn't impressed by it. O even went to the store to smell it again still I never got a thing.
