Hi Justin thanks i appreciate it. I am not sure that the 77D is actually compatible with the crane 3 lab to control the camera. It is not on the compatibilty list. I use a nikon d750 which is also not on the list and i dont connect the camera to the crane with cables so i operate the camera manually but use the crane to get smooth shots. The only need for connection is to pull focus or zoom and to start and stop recording really. There is a pack you can buy with focus and zoom pull gadgets in. I bought it and honestly i never use it.

@@VioletHenning I used the gimble yesterday for the first time. The results were promising. I have a new Blackmagic 6K PRO... excellent camera. I removed the cage , rig etc. Next trial I will add back the cage and external ssd drive.

Hi Werner thanks. If you really do a lot of filmi g for like music videos or home designs or commercials its a great acceasory. But otherwise it becomes a shelf item. If you do buy one, make sure your camera is compatible to link up with it via hdmi. My d750 doesnt. So some controls as well as the zhiyun app doesnt work with mine

Hi there thanks so much for you comment. To answer your question in short, Zhiyun likes sony and canon more than it likes nikon and i am not able to connect my D750 to the gimbal. I use the gimbal for stability only and do not control the camera with it. Its a bit of a pain but you get used to it.

Hi there and thanks for watching. Any camera will work but you have to operate the camera itself manually. Press start and stop recording on the camera. Most older models does not connect via the app to the gimbal unfortunately. You also get a focus amd zoom ring that you can attach to the camera and to the gimbal. I have those but used it once and it was not a good experience. I use the gimbal purely to stabilize my shots and not to manage the camera settings.

Great video V. You explained things so easily. I love gimbals. I have the Weebill Lab as you know. But I now have an issue since I bought my EOS R. With the 24-105 lens on it, it doesn’t fit. It’s too small. I believe the Weebill S has space enough for this setup (Potato Jet proved this). But at a time when I am trying to future-proof my equipment, it’s annoying. More money needed 😡. Maybe I can keep the Weebill lab just for my M50. Or sell it. But at this time it doesn’t really matter. The lock down has zapped all the motivation and creativity out of me. I hope to make a video today. But will see. You have helped me to consider getting back into it. Thank you. X

Thank you Violet. You are a good friend indeed, and I love being able to chat with you. I really like the R but it's perhaps annoying i got it so close to the R5 coming out. Overall, I am very happy with it but there are somethings i think it is missing given the price point - no 120fps at FHD and no IBIS (which the R5 will have both). But maybe the R5 will be a lot more expensive. That's really annoying, I would have liked that. maybe I should do a video on my first couple of months with the R and why I got it.

Hi no i actually havent. Have yoy reset the arms manually and then powered it on? I have a video on how to balance the gimbal the easiest way maybe check what i did there.

good day) and will the Stabilizer Zhiyun Crane 3 Lab fit my nikon d800 camera ?

Hi there is a comprehensive sheet on their website but the nikon camera they show on there is the D850. You can still use the crane 3 for stabilization but the remote settings and app doesnt work on my D750 or other nikons. It seems to favor canon cameras.

@@VioletHenning will another stabilizer be able to help me with my camera? Zhiyun Weebill-S stabilizer will be able to fit the Nikon D800

It will fit your nikon D800 yes, sprry i missed this message. But only nikon d850 is compatible with the app. But your camera will balance perfecr. You will just have to press record manually. Remember if you change lenses to re balance the gimbal. Even if you zoom
