I have a video on my channel that goes through my C200 setup for my commercial shoots! It's a nice and simple setup since I usually like running a minimalist rig for run and gun shoots
Hey, do you have any advice on adapting the gimbal to be used with a jib? I have a 21’ jib and wanted to use the crane 3s with it. Have you encountered this challenge? Perhaps you can do a video on it?
If you're looking to mount it on a jib, you have to unscrew the tripod feet first, then mount the gimbal either right side up or upside down (inverted mode). I haven't personally tried it, but that's how they show it in their official photos on their website!
Hey Bro great videos. Question, Can you use the 1/4” Screw Thread with Crown Gear for the Phone holders to mount the Canon C200 side grip with Arri Rosette mount?
I keep having an issue with my pan axis so I hope you can help me. When I turn the gimbal on, use the F button to center the gimbal or even when using the mode switch button, my pan axis is off center a bit, pointing the camera to the right. I have done the 6 side calibration plenty of times now. I have looked on reddit for info on this, I see 2 years ago people had the same issue with the Crane 2 and Crane 3 Lab but no one responded with a fix. I have several shoots at the end of the month and can't really RMA this. because from FEB 10 - Feb 20 is Chinese New Year and my first shoot is on the 24th
Nope, not at all! The extra extension arm helps you clear pretty much anything. Even a V-mount battery attached to the back! I have a video on how to install the extension arm on the Crane 3S
I can't balance my roll axis correctly. No matter what I do, when its balanced the camera falls into the middle position I cannot have it stay tilted up. Do you know what I can do then?
I have a question ,, I just got my crane 3s and when I power it on ,, I hear alit bit o noise on the gimbal is normal , or the crane 3s Should be silent dead? It only goes silent dead when a put. It in sleep mode
Hey guys ! My Crane S stays on sleep mode even when I get it off and on (even if it's well balanced). So I tried to do the calibration but it stays on "waiting..." and never shows "STEP 1"
I'm having the same issue I can only get either tilt or roll balanced not both. I did read from zhiyun on a forum that if the roll is the same speed from both sides and is horizontal then its balanced. To me this is not ideal but I hope this answers your question. I dont think it should be like this.
@@Risehouseproductions Same here. It may have something to do with the weight distribution of your camera. My RED cant be balanced both tilt and roll at the same time. I was surprised to see this guy do it ion this video...though the C200 is pretty light and he also has a light lens on it.
Yes I can not get the roll axis in the back to balance I’ve been watching some videos and there saying it needs a firmware update it vibrates and jumps really bad
@@directorjparker1415 I'm not sure why your roll axis isn't balancing properly. What's your setup looking like? I've actually been having problems with my 3S as well with the vibration on the tilt axis. I'm guessing it's because mine is a pre-production model but it's interesting to hear some similar problems too
The back motor that slides out left and right that keeps the fumble from spinning around in circles like the vertigo mode it will not balance I get it kinda balanced and then it still falls and spins around
@@directorjparker1415 Weird that it's happening, it's probably just micro adjustments that you need to make. Not really sure without having a look at it
Is anyone having problems with the camera shaking. I have the same c200 configuration but just cant get it to work without suddenly shaking and set the motors to max.
I'm actually having shaking problems on the pre-production 3S, but only when the motors are set to mid-high, high, and ultra. It might be a pre-production thing but sounds like there might be something else going on? Not too sure yet
If you're excited about getting this product then I'm going to let you know now DON'T BE! it's not ready to scale. DO YOUR RESEARCH! and not from Zhiyun either but from the non sponsored customers. They will tell you the truth. Most people who've had problems with it have had to fight very hard WITH NO PAYOFF! A disappointed realization. Hope that other people comment and speak up about his as well.
