I just took a matte brass used zippo, or maybe it was high polish originally and sanded it with 320 grit sandpaper in one direction horizontally, and it became exactly a shiny new “brushed” brass zippo, looks identical🔥👌🎯
Your high gloss 1935 will soon become a good looking Street Chrome Finish. I personally think a naturally scratched up high polish chrome looks better than the latter.
Looks good! Recently have become kind of a brass enthusiast as of late! I have a brass zippo that my mom used for a while, traded her for other zippos and now hers is a nice dark gold color. It was from 2019. It is a shame about the brass inserts not being great, but what can you do?
