Zombie Vikings Review "Buy, Wait for Sale, Rent, Don't Touch?"

Thank you for review! Is Zombie Vikings the game that everyone who likes beat ‘em up or hack ‘n slash genres should consider adding to the game library? It has unarguably many positives - humorous and crazy story based on Norse mythology, funny cutscenes, several characters to choose from before each level, variable and distinctive enemies, light RPG elements in the form of weapons and ruins, mini quests, reasonable difficulty, responsive and user friendly controls, original graphical stylization, great soundtrack, likable sounds and voice acting. However, there are also several downsides - there are not big differences between the game characters along with absence of their development, clunky movement in 2.5D environment sometimes, no health bars for your enemies except bosses, gameplay based on hitting the primary attack button most of the time, placement of some checkpoints and the distinctive style of humor is not for everyone. The game is very suitable for family playing especially thanks to local co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players which is really great. I would not only recommend it to pre-school kids as the game might be scary for them at some moments.

You should review the new Fat Princess for the PS4. My wife and I have been enjoying the humor in it quite a bit... as well as the game itself. It's a fun, mindless change of pace.

The style kind of reminds me of Deathspank with Don't Starve. Seems like an interesting little game though.

How does it compare to Castle Crashers?

Great review. I must say that I was disappointed with this title. Didn't like the controls, felt to "light" in lack of a better expression, and it became very confusing during co-op play. Me and my friends could never sort out where on the screen we where and who was who, so we basically ended up mashing the bottoms and hoping for the best.

I had a good time checking this game out - but there are literally zero people playing this online and since I don't have anyone to play locally, that kinda sucks the fun out of it some what.
